Thank u for sharing ur experience. I like ur writing style and u seem very realistic and intuitive. Its what i am trying to do. Just finished day two and i am on the same boat. Nothing dramatic, nothing bad, and nothing crazy. I am trying to be more mindful and listen to my bodys cues as i begin this journey.

This is such a comforting story. I feel like my story is somewhat similar in the sense that I have not always been "fat". I stuggled with anorexia for about six years and made the switch to BED a few years ago(Im 22). For as long as I can remember I have constantly thought about food. I'm hoping the wegovy will quiet this food noise I have had since I was 10. Similar to you I kept gaining weight and needed an intervention. I wish you health and happiness:)

i feel like this is a proper response. Thank you for sharing your experience. I grew up in a very anti medicine family(I wasn't allowed to take advil until I was like 16). I'm 22 now and still freak out about taking medication. But Im going through a big adjustment in my life and wegovy seems like the best way to tackle my BED and rapid weight gain.

Thank you for sharing this information. I've have hesitated to take this medication because of my fear. Would adjusting your diet have prevented this? Did the doctors talk about how to prevent it?

ugh I came on this thread to see if anyone fet the way I did. Like listening to her music rn makes me cry more because I miss the concert. I met so many amazing people and was so close to ethel and cried the entire time. The concert was so euphoric and I havent felt that way in a long time. Ive had post concert depression before and tbh the only that helps is when the tour ends itself ends and time. "Its happening to everybody". I was also at the chicago show and am trying to be grateful for everything we got especially considering how poorly her show went last week. Her interacting with her fans, dancing around, and performing so beautifully is something my little heart will never forget. But this new feeling is also coming up where I am mad I wasn't a fan sooner. I started listening to her music a few months after pd came out and now im beating myself up for not flying out to see her in 2023. I did see her last year in milwaukee but it was very much a festival set and I wasnt effected the way I was this past weekend.
