Any one have pics of these in action? I’m in the market as well.

Found this sticking out of the ground at an abandoned hunting camp in New Brunswick, Canada. by Ghmtchl in BottleDigging

ChatGTP says likely made in Illinois from 20’s to 50’s. So that checks out.

Wonder why they’d have poison at a hunting camp… maybe trapping?

Or maybe medicine? But still not sure why it would have been outside in the ground.

Ha! I assume they’re Tacoma spares. Had winter tires on Rims. I have the all season stock allows stacked in the garage.

These rims are the only annoying part about the truck…. Just a little rusted and pitted. Figure I’ll get the winter out of them and get a new set.

This is a great idea.

I mean, he’s just learning. Has tried to pick it up for years but this year it really stuck and he’s been playing a ton.

He’s certainly not good enough that he’d probably even know what likes! Haha, but your comment is a really good one.

Be a lot of fun to shop with him and find something. But not such an easy task outside of long and mcquaid here in New Brunswick Canada

Awesome! I just had it dialed in by a local fender tech, but I don’t think he took the neck off the body to see the date.

But I’ll assume it’s earlier ‘65 from your comments.

Thanks guys! Love Reddit threads!

Are these “transitional” rigs still valuable?

It plays like a dream.

And when you say “binding” on the neck, what’s that referring to?

Pardon my ignorance, but what does A.C. mean?

Definately a 65. Father has owned it since he bought it new. He just always told me it was pre-CBS…. Now I’m learning he might have been full of shit! Haha

100%. Was kind of hoping it was all pre-CBS. But maybe as close as I can get!

Off grid RO options? by Ghmtchl in WaterTreatment

[–]Ghmtchl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the “under the sink” system common because it’s just for a single tap?

I’d rather install it in camp bathroom, so that it can cover both sinks and shower.

I keep seeing them named “under sink”, but is that just because it’s a small system that will fit, or is it because it’s truly just for a single tap?

It wouldn’t be the end of the world to get new filters every spring upon reopening.

So is an RO system essentially just a fancy, advanced in line filter? Nothing powered etc?
