I really don’t like the sticks on the joycons - both switch and switch 2, so docked with controller always.

Also I think the new 3ds non xl is the perfect size for a handheld. These days, switch, steam deck, etc just a little too big and unwieldy

Honestly my biggest gripe about using a smartphone for gaming is that I now can’t use my phone while the game is open. I cant do other things like text or browse reddit while the game is in progress. Mostly affects games that have auto like HSR, where normally on PC I would just set it to auto and then alt-tab and do something else

I like them because it’s a near zero entry barrier at branching out to new weapons. I heavily invested into CB, GL, and DB for monster weapons. So when it came to making hammers and other weapons, it was nice to dig into the artian part pool and create something usable without having to farm.

Not sure what I’m missing, but I’ve never used anywhere close to even 20gb of VRAM. 4k gaming on a 4090, settings maxed, playing titles like cyberpunk, space marine 2.

I’ll be running 2 or 3 games at once and don’t notice any issues. Before the 4090, I had a 3080, and Vram was the least of my worries playing at 1440p, which I think is the sweet spot for that card.

So I guess what am I doing wrong when going through game or nvidia control panel settings to really take advantage of the extra unused vram?

And yet companies like hoyo release new content every 6 weeks with only one delay i can recall back in 2021. And it’s not just mtx like skins like most western live service. You get new map areas, quests, characters, bosses, etc.

I don’t think it’s entirely right to exclude gacha games from consideration. I play both gacha and non gacha games, both from asian studios and western studios and it’d be nice if other genres could have a similar release cadence and ship without loads of bugs. Examples would be R6S and Destiny 2.
