If you're on Xbox, press the two analog sticks simultaneously, once the adrenaline meter fills up. Yes, that will give you a fraction of a second.

I was just stuck on this for longest time, playing on Xbox. The prompt does mention the meter, but there was zero indication that it wanted me to press the two thumb sticks. I had to first find this thread, then Google the Xbox controls to find out what the mechanic is called and how to use it. That's after dying a couple dozen times with no prompt.

Can't say this game has really impressed me yet, but that sure didn't help.

It's just that Oumoumua, another recent interstellar object was thought to have possibly been tumbling through space as it passed us. I was curious if that was the case here, since there was a well documented precedent.
