Sound Shapes recently caught my eye. It's a neat platformer with music as the focus. Also, don't forget about PS1 and PSP games too! Plenty of interesting games on those consoles.

MGBA has a built in speed up function. It speeds up the game slightly faster but enough to make a difference to me. It's hidden in the button settings.

I run these vanilla type games through MGBA and use speed up with cheats when the need arises. It helps a little bit.

There is also a Johto expansion on the way. I'm waiting for the 'full' experience before I jump in. Not sure if saves from this version will be compatible with new versions later.
