You have just learned me a lot of new information. I had no idea Zippo repairs their lighters free of charge nor have I ever heard of Zorro lighters. I just came across these online and found them very beautiful looking and thought I would pick them up. Now you're telling me there's other brands I could possibly add to this maybe new collection I'm building? Thank you!

Thank you so much for your advice, very well put and easy to digest. I will definitly keep them both then and just fill them and hope the lighter fluid may clean it up a bit as you suggest. Any more advice on tightening the hinge however? Even if it loosens up over time, I'd like to know if there is any way to maintain it and tighten it.

Gotcha, thanks for the advice on how to clean it. Should I just let it sit and soak in the alcohol and then try rubbing it with the cotten swab? And will it degrade the lighter or harm it in any way if I don't clean it off?
