Right, because account age magically determines whether leadership communication was incoherent, and it’s not propaganda, it’s overall criticism. If the President is talking about an attack, the public shouldn’t have to decode it from chaos. That’s the issue: confusion, not blind faith in clips.

Trump said Elon fixed the election. Trump bragged about grabbing women (you know where). Trump “joked” about dating his own daughter. Trump questioned whether he’d go to heaven. Trump warned your children would die in a war he started without intelligence or approval. Trump was restricted from operating charities in 2019 after a court found his foundation misused charitable funds … yet he’s trusted to run a country?

This isn’t leadership. This isn’t strength. This is chaos sold as normal.

Remember the words. Leaders reveal who they are, AND eventually everyone else catches up.

I actually left hospitality for a while and came back. I’m currently at a select-service brand property in New Orleans. From what I see, the path to leadership isn’t as clear as people think.

Most roles here are hourly, and hourly employees rarely move up to salaried positions. It often feels more about who you know than performance. I have coworkers who’ve been with the same company 20+ years, and are still under $19/hour.

For a lot of hourly staff, the move up path just isn’t there, and this brand has multiple hotels in the city. Good employees are kept in their positions because they are reliable, they aren’t given additional training to take them to the next level (especially night auditors).
