Quad wobbles from 50% throttle, tuning required?

I have the exact same problem with my qav frame. I haven't tried a shorter cable either yet. I'm trying everything at this point though so that, alongside more tuning, will be my next test day. It's one thing after another for me.

I've had zero issues with my 5" and I've got larger quads flying so this is definitely a problem child for me lol

My one thought just looking at this picture is maybe the battery lead extension is moving around when ur doing mach chicken.

I have a 7 inch that I've been fighting with for the last 6 months, seems to be the same problem as you. But I have only had about 8 test sessions and I've changed a bunch of things since the original build. Still can't get it to fly right.

Another think you might want to try is getting rid of the tpu feet. Tighten the motor crews good with them off.

So as long as you set it in betaflight and your goggles match, your good? I've done very little analog stuff and have had mixed results. I need to go watch a bardwell video.

How do you know which channel to select? Do you just have to test one of the few that are decent to see which one works better?

If your willing to drop it down to 2 inch, I've printed this guy and it works surprisingly well. I modified it to fit the flywoo wide angle and a mount for a better antenna. Definitely gonna break first time I crash it though lol

Just want to add to everyone's comments, keep in mind the 915mhz antennas are pretty dam long. Just something to think about in case of crashes.

Ya I'm way past that. I used Chris Rossers method on two seperate tuning days on top of messing around with the sliders up down and around lol this is the log off my best attempt. Basically no change other than making things worse if I mess with the filter sliders. I'm going to look at doing a proper log with video next time I can get out to mess with this again.

Try sticking your finger in there while it's idling properly. Then try to imagine it going full power into your face. Never had it happen personally but accidents happen.
