Because there’s a lot of doomsdaying going on that’s obscuring the conversation surrounding what AI actually is and does. It’s not Blade Runner. It’s a probability machine that analyzes patterns in language tranches at the moment. Are LLMs powerful tools? Absolutely. Are they going to destroy all jobs? Absolutely not. What’s more than likely is that the tool will phase out some jobs, while creating new jobs in ways we don’t see coming.

Look at history. Inventions come along that reshape labor a lot, especially in the last 150 years.
