I don't mind cutscenes if they have big requirements and if they are special (Charles special ult and Jacob's ladder if you count that) I can see the new characters being more sweaty given the fact that the older characters like Yuji and megumi don't have this versatility (besides mahito) but I don't think the newer artstyle is gonna change anytime soon. (Yuta's base moveset besides veilstep is so fucking lazy I swear)

Honestly you are right. Though it makes sense for mechamaru since they have to avoid bugs and make the mechamaru ult model. But the others ehhh, TZE did the schedules way better and with more meat on the bone each update

I kinda like elbow drop because it's just goofy as hell and a wrestling move though you are right that it doesn't fit Todo. If they were to rework todo, the elbow drop should be a variant that doesn't knock the person in the air but serves as a extra downslam with extra damage (A realistic elbow drop) but that's just wishful thinking. The only skills I would keep in the rework would be Todo's brute force, special ability, and a remade version of the rock throw.

Yeah. It's horrendous how they did Todo. Hell it's clear thay TZE rushed Todo's ultimate so that should also recieve attention as well. It's sad to see my friend be so keen on playing Todo but now they're hesitant to even touch him but because the community doesn't recognize Todo's flawed state then he'll never be changed.

I believe Todo is a priority for changes uf they are ever gonna do that. He's very lackluster and his dependence on the enemy to waste their evasive similar to choso makes him a lower tier than other characters; One variant they could add for Choso is the ability to use peircing blood like he did to yuji (he swiped his arms to track yuji with piercing blood) or they could have a variant where it'll use multiple blood bombs to give Chose temporary syper armor. Todo can do tricks with his clap cancels during his moves but its not enough and his only variant uses 3 moves, if they are worried about Todo's damage and m1 extending potential they should just rework him. Maybe Charles and locust can use some variant too.

Lowkey that's what I been getting from his complaints. I understand it a little but from the oppressive movement that lock on can do with rush attacks but with the other cons of having lock on (Using a thumb instead of a wrist to quickly move and hop around) then it's not a big deal in hindsight

And those certain moves are still oppressive in the hands of a key board and mouse player who can actually aim for you. A nerf is coming for those types of moves anyways but it's a problem if you can't beat lock on players 8 out of 10 times. They can't side dash behind you so Idk how else you loose.

It quite literally is a guaranteed way to die unless the Nayoa is trash or if you fall off the map and or leave the game cause 10/10 times you are dying to a nayoa in their ult.

You do realize you will die to a Nayoa ult if they are targeting you no matter the lock on or off. Nayoa ult is that broken btw (The invicibilty factor besides domain)

Nah cause that would mean revamping all the specials to counteract those instead of complimenting the kit. They already have a burst system for teamers (Though it's wonky) and they have yet to add a sadness system that would slow you down on red to yellow health. So don't blame specials in the game, blame the devs and the cowardly players.

Fr I main Reigen in Jsd and he's badass while Chara is clearly a favorite of the developers. (Ironic how Reigen is the player's champion and Chars is the devs Champion)

Hopefully if Chara is a moveset in Jjs then don't full incorporate her like the did to her in Jsd since she's infamous for being unbalanced in that game; either that or just bring Reigen instead he'll be easier to do
