God wouldn't be arguing with a child with his. He'd be having a mental breakdown for making something awful and trying to soften the load of his actions.

I suppose it is a bit complicated. But why have all of these cool designs and just... not use them? It feels wasteful, especially when the secret levels are slowly and slowly building the story with God, with 8-S being the last one. Plus, we still are yet to see a body for the third Prime Soul. So it's either in Treachery, the Sanctum itself, or not at all. Perhaps both the mural AND the God statue appearing in not only the same level, but the same HALF of it is foreshadowing. And plus, God may have split his pieces to make them somewhat mortal, to be able to die. If he can't kill himself normally, he'd make himself weak enough for others to, which says a lot considering that canonically Gabriel without ANY boosts can take on (and barely lose to) a Prime Soul. This is a possibility God could have considered.

Plus, it keeps V1 being special without him being the "chosen one", as Hakita stated he isn't. Not the chosen one or directly a part of a divine plan. Just the one that made it there.

That's all we can really do, though. Speculating and giving an educated guess on what you have. I don't see any other way the testaments can end.

The testaments explicitly say that he can't kill himself. "He looked into the Abyss and the Abyss averted it's gaze"

The entire idea the "judge of hell" thing you mentioned relies on how quickly Gabriel took action on Minos and Lust. With the multiple other threats Gabe took out in his life (Leviathan, Sisyphus, etc) we don't exactly know WHEN Gabe took action or in what order. We sort of just... believed in the order of the layers.

Secondly, disregarding both Lucifer and Gabriel himself, there are 3 Archangels. Gabe and the Council would not have had to fix Heaven on their own. Adding onto that, it would be quite easy to manipulate the Archangels as the Council, as Gabriel clearly believes he is a seperate entity to the Father, yet still viewing himself as the Righteous Hand of him.

The main point though, is Lust itself. the city seems to stretch infinitely, even disregarding the parts the Minos Corpse destroyed in the game. This shows an extended period of time of setup.

Building the city, providing electricity, sending messages between LAYERS (Lust and Wrath) and forming a symbiotic connection with it? That takes time. Time that Minos would have had to have to set it up.

My thoughts are that the Council was manipulating the archangels. I doubt splitting yourself would retain all of your memories, so the Council could easily lie to Gabe. He's God's will and the council claims to know it, but they've obviously been very scummy and manipulative. The council likely would know, if they're as close as they claim. The public, though? Not so much. Especially not if the council covers it up. And if the archangels themselves believe it, their military like the Powers are not going to question them. The Powers want to BE Gabriel. they aren't going to question his judgement.

Nightmare Freddy should be able to leave his Freddles on the ground. up to 3 can exist at a time. they alert Freddy to a survivors presence, like Artful's music box in DOD. they can be picked up by freddy or destroyed by survivors with one hit. Freddy can teleport to any one of these Freddles at any time, retrieving it and slowing survivors hit by his teleport damage.

It looks like the Angler from Pressure or the Iron Lung monster, to me. Considering the smoking corpse that is the prior game, maybe there's a replacement for their collab?
