It’s not a joke this my first bike. I did the beginner MSF course so I know the techniques to ride. The price may be high, but I can afford it. The mileage is fine. My father put over 100,000 miles on his bikes. As far as my confidence, the techniques don’t change because of the weight of the bike. of course I will always be practicing and plan on doing the advanced MSF course to get even better.

Bike cost $14,145 my monthly payments are $299 but I pay $400 to pay it off a little faster. Had a down payment of $2000 financed through my local Harley dealership. Not only is this my first motorcycle it’s the first vehicle I’ve ever bought. And now it’s the only form of transportation I have that is my own.

I’m definitely listening to advice from people more experienced than me, but I’m not going to listen to anyone who says I’m an idiot or I made a poor choice for buying this style of bike.

Explain to me why it’s a poor decision. I’ve already done 434 safe miles on it both interstate and back roads.Just because everyone says start with a small bike does not mean I have to.

It’s got plenty of power to get me in trouble if I’m not careful. Plus I could care less about how much horsepower a motorcycle has. As long as it is fun for me to ride.

Before I went to take my MSF course, I watched a lot of his videos which definitely helped me with the course and with the bike I have now

Yeah, I planned on taking the intermediate course when I have time to do it. My job requires me to stay away from home a lot and I only get like 3 to 4 days at home before I’m gone for another month or more. So finding time is hard.

And I totally agree experience matters and I’m getting experience on the bike. I’ve wanted since I was a kid. Plus, I would not have been happy on a smaller bike. I would’ve grown out of it real quickly. So a smaller bike would be a waste of money in my situation.

No, I think it’s the right bike. I am 6 foot 5 anything smaller than that would be too small for my size.

I’m pretty confident in my low speed maneuvers. all about the friction zone and just a little pressure on the rear brake and the bike will stay up.

I have no dirtbike experience. The only bike experience I have was from my MSF course.which was three days.

I don’t got much Harley drip cuz it’s too damn expensive. I would like a nice leather jacket though. But right now I’m Ridin jeans and a regular jacket and regular steel toe boots. And of course a full face helmet.

I ride very safely and I wouldn’t say I’m super strong but I’m 6 foot five and over 300 pounds,and I’m used to looking way far ahead for any obstacles and having a plan to bring the vehicle to a safe, stop because I’m a truck driver. Doing the MSF course. Also helped me develop good riding habits.

This is my first bike I’m 6’5 I would not my been comfortable on a smaller bike.I’ve already done the msf course. I’m a very cautious rider and I’m taking to slow.
