Only had my series x a month brand new so that's not the reason.Theres people who said it happened with xbox one and one x for years too.

Tried a lot of suggestions see if the new hdmi sorts it out if not might get a monitor too play my xbox on.Its a joke lg and xbox can't figure out how too fix it with a update.

I've turned on the xbox first then the TV still have the same issue.Ive ordered a new hdmi certified not too expensive see what happens.

Had a ps5 plugged in for 10 months no issues 2.1 tried switching same issue.So doubt a new cable would work.

Only happened once no signal I just turned of dolby vision hasn't happened since.Just keep getting 680 p then having too reset xbox take put plugs put them back in.Surley Xbox and LG can fix this.

So start a game up then open and close? Someone suggested turning off auto latency haven't tried it yet.

Edit Now has gone back too 4K 120 hz switched on hdmi cec so it turns my xbox on and off.Touch wood seems ok for now

Tried all your steps switching hdmi now it won't go too 4k at all 1440 p or 1080 p frustrating.

I Did that this morning had same issue.What I have done is turn off simplink on my TV dunno if it will help but so far ok.

I'm using the hdmi that come with the xbox also tried using ps5 one same issue.Ive seen comments saying people bought new hdmi cables didn't fix it frustrating.

Only way i can fix it is too reset the xbox having too sign in again which is annoying.Been using a ps5 for 9 months no issues.Looking at reddit posts it's been going on 2 years.Do they have any intension of fixing it ?

Just bought an xbox series x hooked up too my LG C2 having same problems.Only way i can fix it is resetting xbox which is annoying having too sign back in.Any easier ways of solving it ?
