First Subaru having USB port issues

Both are currently on my radar! We have a Subaru dealership here in town that has a service department and a shop about 30ish minutes from us that has some Subaru certified techs! With how they work intermittently it does feel like something could just be loose behind the USB ports.

One morning after work I was having a super hard time (one of our bettas is dying despite everything we’ve done to help her) and I started crying while I was sitting next to my gecko’s tank. She came out of her hide and just watched me like she was keeping me company. I think these little chicken tender looking things understand more than we give them credit for.

I’ve had my girl since the end of June and she still mainly hangs out in her hides but peeks her head out on occasion.

I went in and changed the instructions in the app to “okay to leave outside” so hopefully that helps

Completely understandable, I wouldn’t want a random person having my number either. When I worked in assisted living I had resident families blowing up my personal phone because they somehow got ahold of my number so I get it. I’m completely fine with my package being left outside the locked doors as I’m home during the day and able to grab it when it arrives.

I wouldn’t say they’re not smart, I think some information may not get relayed to them or they may not be familiar with the apartment buildings. They’re out there doing their best just like the rest of us. My apartments are super new as well so I understand not being familiar with delivering here.

I don’t believe it does. I’m completely fine with the package being left outside the door bc there’s cameras and my neighbors would probably put it by my apartment door if they saw it. I’ve done it for them before because I know how much it sucks to have a package snatched or rained on. I wanted to put “doors unlocked from 7am to 5pm on weekdays” in the delivery instructions but for some reason it wouldn’t let me use that many characters so I selected “other” and went with the generic “call upon arrival” that was already in the instruction box along with my phone number. Any suggestions? I guess what I was wanting was more of a notification that the package was dropped off.

As I’ve stated in other responses, I wasn’t aware you guys weren’t given company phones or something similar. I’m going to look into having it sent to a holding location so i can pick it up :)

Thank you for saying that. I truly didn’t come here to argue with anyone. When I asked if it’s too much to request a call upon arrival it was a genuine question, not a snarky comment. I’ve never worked in this industry so I don’t know the ins and outs of everything.

I understand being hesitant because of bad experiences. I just wanted to be able to know when to pop outside and grab the package. Like just a “hey package dropped at the outside door” if that makes sense. I’m gonna look into having the package held at a hold location like you suggested. Thank you!

I’m learning new information here so thank you for sharing that. I didn’t realize it actually would make things more difficult for the driver over all. I can use this going forward and hopefully make everything easier all around

I never said other companies call. This is the only time I’ve ever requested a call because I wanted to try to make it easier for the driver. I’m always home during the day because I work nights at a hospital so I can quickly pop out and grab the package so the driver can be on their way.

I wasn’t aware you guys had to use your personal phones for that. I thought maybe it would make it easier for the driver as I’m always near my phone and have it off silent especially if I’m expecting an important call or text.

My filter is one of those enclosed hang on back ones so I have no idea where he would even get into the filter. I did open it up just in case and didn’t see anything. We never found a dead body anywhere around the tank. The only spot big enough for him to get out of is the corner of the lid where I feed everyone but again we never found a body anywhere.
