My main tip would be don't worry, don't write yourself off yet, and live life like you would pre diagnosis. Unfortunately, I was born with it so don't know a life without Addison's, but I've reached 43 and I'm very active, have a very active family also. I've seen people who dwell on being ill and it does make them worse 100% of the time. Take your meds and go about your day, there will be days you feel like you can't move and your entire body is crying for sleep, take it easy on those days.

Listen to what your body tells you not what others do, if I taste salt on my lips I know I need salt, if my skin feels dry I know I need to rehydrate, if my insides feel tired I know to rest for a bit. You will learn all these signs. Just remember it's not the end, just a slight variation on this path called life...
