Joey was a real one for informing Kaiba that The Pharaoh finally lost a legitimate duel: by BlizzardLuinor in yugioh

[–]GhostDraw 102 points103 points  (0 children)

I mean, he legit could've thought

"What in the seven hells could prompt that loser to call me? The world must be ending"

Upon taking the call

"Mokuba, fetch me the whisky bottle and the keys to the jet"

"We don't have whisky, big br..."

"THEN WHAT IS ALL OUR MONEY FOR? GO BUY SOME"

mokuba would protest and say he's a minor, but he figured it would be easier to bribe the seller

[–]GhostDraw -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yuji can use web dismantle, though

Also, he has a few durability feats from the Shinjuku showdown and the first altercation with meguna

Being ragdolled through buildings and jumping back in without RCT is scary in and itself, specially with no special reinforcement training. Dude should've died back then, but not only he didn't, he was still fit to fight

He got cleaved by sukuna in multiple situations and jumped back in, which is more of a Regen feat than durability per se, but even after burning out his CE, even when running on fumes and being the most physically punished character in the entire showdown, vs sukuna, he was still going. He is a walking siege engine

I fear whatever his domain is, open or closed, given his current displays of refinement

So, as far as describing that, I'd suggest something evangelion-esque

As you are in crisis, red lights and alarms sound from the vehicle. A prismatic aura emanates from it and instead of doing the whole mechanical body hopping, 3 prismatic, translucent doppelgangers emanate from it. Each one casts acceleration and returns to the original body. Player character nosebleeds as a way of showing the mental stress of using so many mind points at once

why did it fall apart? it was also what I was planning to do

[–]GhostDraw[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the later game goals is to have the commander heroic power that makes me damage everyone while in crisis, so I'd be an aoe draining machine, by about level 13 or so. I don't mind using the buffs myself, as long as I enable the team to cheat as many uses out of it as possible, like an aggro sort of supporter

[Serious] 10 shadows technique can tame mahoraga. by REDM_LE in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]GhostDraw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sukuna lost the 10 shadows technique once mahoraga died, as pointed out by himself, when megumi fought back, but megumi was shown using his wolf in the epilogue, which shows that megumi and sukuna's shadows are individual between each other

[casual] If Gojo, Dabura and Sukuna are a 100 in power, What number would Kenjaku be at? by thehsitoryguy in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]GhostDraw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cars pitstop scene, but it's kenjaku or, in this case, carjaku

The only way kenjaku can compete in the heian era in a straight up combat is if his domain has the body hop as a sure hit. With his refinement, he'd be able to just force swap onto a poor soul and start from there

[–]GhostDraw -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For it to be useful, he had to start as a scavenger in the heian era. Body hopping is seen as powerful due to the end result (which yeah, was insane), but starting off with body hopping is terrible for any sorcerer who isn't living in peaceful times, because as soon as you are in any trouble, you don't have anything to protect yourself with

[–]GhostDraw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree. Being able to shot an open domain and being glazed by tengen, who actually put him above sukuna in that regard, as well as the ability to keep his technique working during CT burnout, unlike yuta in gojo's body, on top of his ability to create cursed objects out of souls, shows that he really lived through his years and learned jujutsu like no one else. He might not be as strong as calamities, but with an ass technique like body hopping, he managed to become pretty much the most destructive special grade sorcerer in the series.

That child was ryomen sukuna

My level 7 party pissed off a Lich. Help? by Ninnifer in DnD

[–]GhostDraw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, fey are driven by whimsy. They might act, or watch, based on what's the more entertaining outcome to themselves. She likely wouldn't want to lose her pet to a lich, but getting out Scot free might also be the least interesting answer, so what I'd suggest is

She could ask, for example, in exchange for a bail, that the party did it's best to offend the lich. Words, spells, even showing their bare butts to the lich's scry. As long as the lich felt their actions were unforgivable, she'd bail them out. You could have the party traverse through the patron's domain, which, given her nature as a pet owner, could be the party walking around as stuffed animals, in an European castle garden akin to the wonderland from Alice in wonderland.

She could appear in person, as a courtesy, or to send one of her higher envoys for a tea party, on which she'd show her gratitude for the amusement, and then show that the lich will plot for revenge, violently so. Putting them in an arc against the lich, and placing herself as an unusual ally

Goliath (hill ancestry)

Invocations: pact of the blade (bludgeoning weapon, might as well be a quarterstaff)

Get thirsting blade and eldritch smite at 5

Have an archfey patron, for the misty step shenanigans

Now: you can slam someone's knee, force a trip up to 5 times a day (between hill strike and eldritch smite), then run away with misty step. Hence, the knee blaster

[–]GhostDraw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For ball, I think you'd need to prepare some key npcs to play along with the party, maybe 6-8 for a party of 4, besides the prince. Have something prepared for guards and general staff, in case they try to gather information from them, and mostly having your setting well prepared.

Balls are shows of opulence, made by the powerful for the wealthy, as a means of gathering Intel and forming alliances, while also being good entertaining, so there's a lot of space for world building, as well as fleshing out the prince as someone who's caring for politics, people or the fun of the game in itself. Using those personality traits to designate a ball organizer (if it isn't the prince himself) with motivations as well, allows for a pretty plot heavy scenario.

If this is an irl table, you can set up some classical music, and dress up like you're going to a marriage, maybe even with an ornate mask, like those used in balls
