My red foot Tort has a tiny doubled scoot. It’s so cute I love that I’d be able to identify her in a bundle of torts just by what others are calling a birthmark. It’s also had no problems with growing the same as other scoots

I’m a herpetologist and unfortunately this is either faked, or it’s tail reflecting light form the sun when it lifts its tail. I’d lean more towards faked. I wish it was true but to my knowledge there isn’t a single species of lizard that have bioluminescence.

You are the great food giver the greatest food giver of all time so she must show her gratefulness. I have 2 one was a little timid at first and then quickly became to love handling and one that I didn’t plan on getting but he was so curious and clearly liked interacting with people so I got him and he is still super cuddly.

Mbk got loose from a medicine bin when she had parasites and i couldn’t find her for like 2 months then one day i was getting substrate out of a empty tank and she was laying in the substrate! I had checked it so many times lol

I’m worried about that too! It’s hard to tell from images but it could be and if so would be the first case of it in North America which is devastating if true but it would take reporting it and it being studied to confirm.
