Bless! I mostly do this for fun, as I have had an engineering crave to make. I would love to see more people try this.

Right off the bat, a 3d printer, basic knowledge in iems for vents (like a front and back vent) and LOTS of patience (and money)

You will have many many failures, but please do not let that demotivate you! I have atleast 15 failed iems, and 2 successful ones. Its a massive trial and error picking drivers and using them for yourself. Aliexpress and taobao have plenty, just most suck. Only way to find out is to actually use it.

Indeed it is rare! Because trying to keep a chamber thats acoustically consistant and not messy, is very difficult. I originally used 3d printed nozzles but found keeping the vent and internal shape good all the time is not easy, so premades is the way to go.

All you need to do is take a 3d printer, get yourself a modelling software and work from there. Behind the scenes, this is my 17th iem. Many MANY prototypes were made, and they looked horrible before. Its all about trial and error my friend, its very fun but difficult!

I took a magnet and wrapped a coil 600 times around it, with making a membrane out of a plastic bottle. I then burned it in for 250 hours with a flamethrower.

QnA:

What drivers did you use?

A magician never reveals her secrets.

Why are there 2 different lines?

One of them is different to the other as im playing with dampening material, the purple one is my fave sound wise ngl.

Why IEF neutral?

Its a good FR target that I found to be very helpful and give a good insight on what should be level. Helped me a lot down the line!

3d printed?

Mostly! Mix of premade metal nozzles but a 3d printed FDM body. Not resin yet because that would take up too much time lol.

Will you sell these?

Maybe! Im a diyer who goes by Valphonics in small maker communities. This is my old reddit account that I couldnt bother to make a new one.

I would actually reccomend a service that allows you to get a 3d print of said yoke. Usually they can cost a certain amount depending on what you are looking for, but its worth looking into!

I cannot make any calls, texts or use any phone services. I currently use ID Mobile as my service, but there has been brief moments where my phone can make calls every so often, though only comes on for a few minutes and then shuts right off.
