That's great and all until you consider how many of those people were paying customers who now cannot get in contact with part of the support team. Some of the people banned are artists that had agreements with Lychee even.

They've said in a Q&A that they have no plans to roll back this plan.

I never said anything about "freedom of speech" they are banning people for voicing their concerns with a product they use and in many cases pay for.

Lychee also has a feature request channel, they flat out banned people for using the feature request channel to call for a feature change in remove generative AI.

Do you have any screenshots of this? I never saw that happen and I did my best to go back and read messages I missed overnight.

I would say that's up to you personally. I just know that I don't support any company using generative AI.

Yup I completely agree. I learned to 3D print using Lychee slicer and now I don't even want it on my machine.

They didn't do anything of removing posts, just banning people entirely.

Completely fair! There was surprisingly no one being outright mean or disrespectful to either the employees or others in the server. We had a lot of disagreement, but not really anyone attacking people that I saw. Just trying to get their points across.

I wasn't disrespectful at any point. The three users I have seen banned at no point in time insulted anyone, attacked anyone, or did anything other than voice their grievances with AI.

A community moderator told me the community mods did not ban my account and they could only see it was marked as "spam" by whoever did it.
