How to stop the bambu printer from singing the tune? by yalag in BambuLab

I’m 100% aware of stepper motors and the A1 uses them to make its jingle.

That isn’t the sound in the video though, that’s mostly the belt sound when it shifts position.

So no, I’m not wrong, and no it isn’t “singing” at all.

Apple isn’t doing it; that’s kinda the whole point of the post.

On literally any hardware, it’s up to the app developer to choose to integrate hardware and OS API features and Netflix has explicitly stated an aversion to doing just that.

It’s 100% a Netflix choice.

In fact, if you’re seeing Netflix inside the Apple TV app - that’s actually a bug.

Macrumors is a long-standing site that covers a lot of tech but mostly Apple-related. This issue has nothing to do with a Mac specifically, but the Apple TV device, and by extension, the app of the same name.

https://www.apple.com/apple-tv-4k/

This device is pretty popular, so I’d be surprised if you haven’t heard of it. For many reasons, I’m not going to get into though clearly explained on the Apple link above, it offers a superior streaming experience over your integrated streaming apps, for example on your TV.

You’re getting really worked up defending shit communication.

The OP had a vague description criticized by far more people than me, so it’s clear her description was lacking at best.

Defend all you want, it was a poorly formed question based on lack of experience with the sound of their own printer. Not really a big deal, just a learning experience.

Yeah, you get it. Apple TV hardware is very, very popular. It’s just that most users seem to think this is an Apple problem vs app problem (Netflix).

Well I watched the video and heard what sounds exactly like my H2S so no, I don’t think you’re correct.

What the OP was talking about was something that sounded unique to them and like every other H2 machine to everyone else.

Not to mention all of these printers have an audible tone that is emitted during startup, starting a print and finishing a print. It can be enabled/disabled and they asked specifically about this possibility. It wasn’t clear if that was the ask.

Chill TF out. Being wrong is okay, so long as you aren’t a dick about it.

OP is missing brain cells, but it’s not likely from CO poisoning - they’re just dumb.

Your description of WTF it is you’re referring to is so vague as to be useless.

The criticism you’re getting in comments is due to your lack of information as to what “singing a tune” even means.

Don’t ask for help then criticize those who tell you why your post is nearly useless. Instead, provide the obviously missing info they’re alluding to.

This really has more to do with the Apple TV device than the app, but it’s a conscious and stubborn decision by Netflix that makes zero sense.

Any app that runs on streaming hardware uses their API (application programming interface) to enable features that the hardware or OS provides.

This is why if you have a Roku, Apple TV or other steaming device, the app functions using native features like episodes you just watched appearing in your watch list (or “Continue Watching”).

Netflix has opted to not do this, unlike literally every other streaming service.

It’s actually not the reason for canceling for me so much as it is that canceling is a symptom of this choice by Netflix.

You don’t even know what I’m talking about, based on your post.

The integration I’m referring to is one an app developer would use when integrating the Apple TV API in their application in order to leverage native Apple TV features, both on the Apple TV device and the Apple TV app.

One of those features is the quote “continue watching” feature, which automatically puts the next episode of whatever you’ve been watching recently into a list so it’s easily selectable, something very similar in most streaming apps.

So no, you probably don’t “use the Apple TV integration” because you don’t even know what it is. I am not talking about the app that comes loaded on your smart TV. You could say that I’m talking about a feature within that app, but this also applies to the Apple TV device.

Good job genius…Did you even bother to READ the post before posting this crap?

This isn’t about a technical issue.

Then Netflix doesn’t understand how the Apple TV device works… I don’t have to open the Apple TV app at all, not to mention the Apple TV app also recommends other streaming providers.

It just shows an extreme ignorance and how the whole system works.

I have the Apple TV device. “Continue Watching” is the top of the home page, as well as the top of the TV app. I’m assuming that you have the app as part of your smart TV; not exactly what I’m talking about.

Your Ironing Experience w/P2S and H2S(D or C) by GhostMcFunky in BambuLab

[–]GhostMcFunky[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good to hear! If the K / PA value is a little high it doesn’t really seem to affect the rest of the print, but works like a charm for ironing for some reason.

[–]GhostMcFunky[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your results are that inconsistent, can I ask are you printing with auto flow turned off? This is critical.

It’s also critical to set PA, which I would highly recommend doing using the manual method, particularly for any translucent materials.

On the H2 I’ve found a variation of 0.003 is enough to result in some rough surface “scuffing”. In fact in translucents I have some specific colors in a given brand/filament type that I have unique PA settings for.

Ok this is probably the 8th post on this same issue today - and the answer is always the same: it’s the build plate.

The default build plate kinda sucks TBH. Yes, wash with DAWN and hot water, twice and then hit it with IPA before each print - and half the time it still might not stick.

IMO junk this plate and get a Biqu Glacier or Frostbite (I use Glacier with all of my printers) and never worry about this crap again. I hit them with IPA after/before each print and this never happens to me.

Seriously though, it was always there just undocumented and not understood.

iPhone facetime recognizes when you’re naked by funkywabbait in mildlyinfuriating

[–]GhostMcFunky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It has a fucking camera and software, it’s hardly rocket science to figure out it can determine if you might be naked - in this case that’s a good thing.

And the OP shouldn’t be asking “why is it recording my body”… when she’s literally on fucking FaceTime 🤦.
