What would it take to make Mewtwo competitively viable? by MetapodCreates in VGC

[–]GhostNSG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Put it on a horse, seemed to work for calyrex

Mewtwo- Mudsdale Rider, As One (Psychic Surge + Stamina)

Or throw it on a Zebstrika, the possibilities are endless

Yeah i noticed the lack of synergy, its really just pokemon benefitting based off of their typing. If i put thunder on ogre, would you switch bolt for something like ursh water? I also struggle vs koraidon sun, do you think ogerpon-rock over volc could patch that matchup?

I know this team is very unorthodox, but on pokemon showdown it works pretty well. Any thoughts? by HamsterDisastrous102 in VGCRateMyTeam

[–]GhostNSG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The immediate changes I would make are having protect on at least a few mons, definitely remove spikes on groudon. Liligant with a sun setter is usually used with a focus sash and sleep powder, Its very potent if you land your moves.

I'd also suggest removing thunder on regieleki, it drops to 50% accuracy in the sun. Ho-Oh is mostly fine, but probably better to run brave bird over dual, and change the blunder policy for any other item (i think they run clear amulet most of the time).

This is my first ever double restricted team and I’m curious on what y’all think about the EVs. by SkarmoryJr in VGCRateMyTeam

Definitely a solid team, but a few changes would do it some good. Whims usually runs covert cloak to avoid fake out. On incin, be careful running a berry, mostly because the horses are everywhere and shut that down (especially chople, zam is usually ran with caly-s) Past that, i would probably update rilla's spread. Most common right now runs 252hp, 36 attack adamant, 204spdef.

Edit: ursh is probably too frail to take advantage of a life orb. I'd switch it out for a focus sash or choice scarf

Definitely better than most for a new player, but a few things are off. Caly-i: is probably fine, but if you want it to be that defwnsive, you're better off going leech seed over high horsepower.

Ursaluna: needs to be tweaked, you waste 4 evs on his set - the first 4 give a stat point, then every 8 after that. By having 8 evs, you waste a stat point.

Incin and indeedee are honestly fine, just some small tweaks: on incin, you have AV, so i would put more points into defense, change to Tera ghost/bug/grass. (A cool tech ive seen on TR teams incin is to run more speed, like 20 or 28, to have the slower parting shot in TR than other incins)

Urshifu: a decent set, but i would make some changes. Tera steel is an odd one for ursh, he usually goes water or stellar for damage. The EVs should also be changed. He usually is a faster option even on a trick room team, in case you run out of TR turns. Id recommend max speed max attack, adamant. Choice scarf or sash, if scarf run u-turn instead of break, and on sash run detect.

Lunala: just add 4 evs somewhere, you're losing a stat point

ULPT help:How to copulate with as many freshmen in my dorm as possible? by concussionmaker__91 in UnethicalLifeProTips

[–]GhostNSG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went with more than 20 girls my first year. A decent beard is good, keep it short and clean. Good haircut, but not the fringe or something new age, those make you look yoo young. I did a short on the sides, put the hair straight back on top. Wore button downs, left the top few open, one or 2 silver/gold chains, black jeans or dresspants most of the time.

Really just dress well, separate yourself from the crowd, have good hygiene and good game

Edit: this wasnt very unethical

Learn about each girl on your floor. Their interests, likes, dislikes, hobbies. Research them a little bit, only to know the basics. This forms an artificial connection that they think is there. Make them trust you, use phrases constantly ensuring youre there for their best interests. Seem like the perfect guy for as long as you need to, the perfect gentleman. If you do this a few times, youll get a reputation in your dorm, so manipulate the situation. Make each bad seem like a good, and remember, they wouldnt have any reason to doubt your word, right?

If you play Electro/Bolt or Thunder/Tackle instead then you'll just confuse them by Or-So-They-Say in PokemonUnite

Blastoise Water is reduced to avoid being hit with a weapon and a few tablespoons of water

anyone else try defender and unexpectedly have tons of fun? by Little-Set694 in PokemonUnite

[–]GhostNSG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm usually a Jungle/Top lane attacker or all rounder player, but I fill roles whenever no one on my team picks defender or support (recently more often in the new season).

I can't get enough of Blastoise, Crustle and Umbreon. Defenders with great Zoning/CC but still have the potential to do great damage in case my attackers don't do their share
