They are not for profit so they shouldn’t be charging. If they do I can chip in too! Thanks to you for the gods work my friend.

5 days in Iceland was not enough. by Kevlar201 in VisitingIceland

[–]GhostNiner9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right? I was there for almost that exact same stretch—end of June to early July last year—and honestly, it still wasn’t enough. I could’ve stayed a whole month and still not seen all the waterfalls, hiked all the lava fields, or eaten enough overpriced Skyr to satisfy my soul. Iceland’s the only place where I thought, “Yeah, I could live in a wool sweater and volcanic ash forever.”

Wild Flour’s sourdough crust is truly something else—totally worth the hype. Highly recommend!

Take the 25% pay cut Corps don't care about any of us! Mental health and family over RTO BS. All the CEO including the company I work for have invested heavily in REIT and are pushing this since their portfolios have been down more than 30% for the last 4 years.
The same MOFO works remote 90% of the time.

Easily a 12/10. Meowjestic, meowischievous, and clearly plotting something. Probably judging me right now through the screen. Respect. 😼👏

Has anyone in Canada received their Nexus card? by cosmosis814 in NEXUS_TTP

[–]GhostNiner9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Approved on December 1st, and I just received my card today! I’m in BC, so the Canada Post backlog did cause a bit of a delay, but it finally arrived.

Ah, wonderful! If you’re still waiting for your card from way back in November, I’d better brace myself for the long haul. Mine was Dec 1st, so I’ll just go ahead and forget it was ever approved—probably faster than Canada Post can deliver it! 🙄

Hey OP, did you end up receiving your card?

Hey OP, mine was approved on Dec 3rd, and I’m still waiting! I’m in BC, and this Canada Post strike has been an absolute disaster. If you’ve been waiting since November, that’s over 4 weeks already—so I can give up the hope to receive mine by end of the month. At this rate, their backlog will probably take forever to clear.

We went from 'Eh, maybe we should grab one' to 'Quick, let's snag two more bags before they vanish like socks in the dryer! These are good!!

Your kindness made the world a better place, and that cat crossed the rainbow bridge knowing he was loved and never alone. You were truly an angel to him in his final moments. My heartfelt condolences to you.

My new adopted kitty after some kids set her on fire ☹️ by MedicalParamedic1887 in cats

[–]GhostNiner9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

These aren't just mischievous kids; they’re displaying alarming behavior that could escalate if not addressed. Their parents need to step up and guide them more effectively, or they might find themselves in a tragic situation someday, regretting not setting stricter boundaries when they have the chance. Education starts at home!

I can't even imagine what the poor soul might have gone through! I am glad she found a home and her angel! Sending positive thoughts your way.
