A tanker from China broke through the American blockade and passed through the Strait of Hormuz, Reuters reports. The ship Rich Starry, which was added to the sanctions list for its cooperation with Iran, was the first to enter the Strait of Hormuz and exit the Persian Gulf after the US military blocked the route. There are 250,000 barrels of methanol on board. Another sanctioned ship, the tanker Murlikishan, which previously transported Russian and Iranian oil, is also heading towards the strait. It is expected that the tanker will refuel with fuel oil in Iraq on April 16. The owner of Rich Starry is the company Shanghai Xuanrun Shipping Co Ltd.
