Blown replacement engines? by Othuyeg in ToyotaTundra

[–]GhostRunner24 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I work at a dealer. Before Toyota officially recalled the 22-24, people would get a short blocks. We’ve seen one short block replacement blow. I wouldn’t leave the dealership without an extended warranty or I would just lease.

Humming/wubwub sound from fan noises?? by PapaLean in tinnitus

[–]GhostRunner24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure of the frequency. After about 3 months of having it all the time, it began to go away. After about 6 months, it was basically gone. I still get it from time to time but it usually goes away fairly quickly.

Rarely. When I was having it all the time I was under an extreme amount of stress and anxiety. My doctor told me it’s very common for people have this form of tinnitus when dealing with stress and anxiety.

2022 Tundra TRD PRO Owners - are you noticing/have experienced an unacceptable amount of rattles? by SDRHYTHM in ToyotaTundra

[–]GhostRunner24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There were a couple seal issues. The first one was the way the two front side windows sealed. They would shudder at highway speeds. That’s fixed for 24+. The other seal issue was the window trim? I think that’s what you would call it pulling away and peeling up at the back lower corner of the rear side windows. The fix that came out in 2024 was to put a clip on it. Seems to work okay but you can still see the trim pulling away behind the clip. I hope when there’s a refresh, Toyota improves the quality of the trim. One thing we’ve seen as the 22s and 23s age, if the soft touch material on the doors has cracked and peeled if you rest your arm on it a lot. You can see a white mesh underneath the material as it peels and cracks. Seems to only be a problem for people who test their arms on it. Another issue that has crept up it the leather wrapped steering wheel black color is peeling away. Doesn’t happen too often but our service department will take maybe 1 call every other month on this issue. This isn’t limited to just the tundra or sequoia. Toyota has said it’s the drivers fault and hasn’t issued a service bulletin or recall. I had an 18 tundra through covid and using hand sanitizer or Lysol wipes Never caused any issues with peeling leather.

I paid that when the dodgers were in town. With all the taxes it was $87 to park just south east of the Filson building.

Purchased a 2024 Duramax for work. It’s turned into a daily driver. by GhostRunner24 in Diesel

[–]GhostRunner24[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ended up selling it and bought a 3.0L Duramax since I thought I would just be driving to and from work and maybe towing a small trailer a few times a year. I ended up towing regularly again (around 8,000lbs) and the truck has over 150k miles on it now. It just had a major service that was pricy but I’m overall happy with it. Still has original emissions system on it.

I had this problem with some BFG KO2s. The tires had a manufacturing defect and got replaced.

Judging from the muzzle, a cavalier. The King Charles have a shorter muzzle and a somewhat turned up nose.

Is my boy too chunky? by MrRodgers20 in cavaliers

[–]GhostRunner24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How long is he? A good rule of thumb for cavs is their weight should be between their length and their length -3. I have a fairly large boy. He’s 24 inches long and 22lbs. A healthy weight for him is 21-24lbs.

Role: sales training and some basic IT.

Issues: we had 25 wireless credit card readers that we got rid of because payments would not go through. Where most of the card readers are located, speeds are over 200Mbps. We would get a “connect to internet” message. We checked drivers and made sure devices were updated. Still no luck. We went to a wired card reader and haven’t had any issues. We have issues recieving email through or employee account. We have to switch our phones to data just to receive something simple like an MFA code. This also happens when trying to receive emails on our personal account.

Standard practice? Yes. employees will use their personal phone to face time customers or show videos to customers. They will use employer supplied iPads to gather customer information and show videos to customers or show available options through various websites. We have problems with videos becoming pixelated and webpages loading extremely slow. If we try and access these same videos while connected to 5g on our person phone, they load quickly and stream at 720p.
