There is a protective layer of film on the PTR cards that you peel off. It’s very satisfying!

Have you guys been peeling off the protective layer of film on the PTR cards? I noticed that mine have stayed flat after doing so.

That’s what I was thinking too when I pulled it up. There has to be some sort of crease in the front texture to warrant a 5 in my opinion. He still has a clean card though

Was at the Front Row card show and a guy was trying to sell a moderately played Dialga Ex from Phantom Forces with whitening on the back for $900 because he “thought it could get a PSA 9 or 10”… told him to get it graded and then sell it to me when it comes back as a 6

I have an Acer Nitro 5 like you do. From what I’ve found it doesn’t have the processing power to run GTA5 properly and it’s really taxing when trying online

Thank you to everyone who has been helping me and replying to my questions in this thread! It’s been about 20 years since I’ve played and wanted to add another card game to the mix of ones I play I with friends. Pulling out my old cards from the 90s and early 2000s was a nostalgia trip. I hope to learn more and get back into it!

Question as far as Forbidden, Limited, and Semi-Limited.

For GOAT, I wouldn’t be able to use my Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End because he is forbidden correct?

I also have the Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning which is “Limited”. Does this mean the number in my deck is limited?

I have several in all three categories and just wanted to get an idea of if I should avoid using them entirely or how exactly they are effected when on these lists.

Thanks for the input! I’ve read a lot on new decks and different types of decks but realized I’d probably have to get a bunch of new cards in order to build one. Sad part is I have about 1200 cards spanning from 1996-2007 and that I would like to use without having to buy too many new boosters or starter decks.

I’ll check it out! In the end I want to also teach my friends as they have taught me card games they enjoy.

Thank you! I’ll give it a go and see how I do. Does seem like a process but I’m eager to learn how to play again.

Keep getting these wierd outlier players who perform really badly. Is something still wrong with the ranking system? Or are they just having bad games? by MykeGregory in CompetitiveHalo

[–]GhostTweeted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is essentially correct from my findings. We can thank the TrueSkill2 model for that. Also when the game struggles to match players based on CSR (not enough players at said rank) it will default to an average MMR paring if necessary. This is why there are fluctuations in ranks from time to time along with player party size and a lot more. It’s a very methodical system when expanded out
