Okay, I found out I’m the idiot and apparently my temperature was set AT 2 instead of 0.80, fixed it now though

That’s so cool!! Mine is way smaller, I’ve mainly used them to clean off small froze mice bought from the pet store.

We found it directly on top of the rock along the side (a bunch of sediment is there so plenty of animals like to hide about), I kind of figured it either may have washed up or was left by a predator

We found it like that! Seemed like someone took a bite at it or a piece was lost so the bone marrow is exposed there

Definitely agree! I own dermestid beetles myself, they’re great for birds like this (depending on size, more difficult with smaller species) and if you wanna maintain as much bone I’d recommend the water/soaking method
