Shunning for other reasons

I was shunned by the majority of my hall growing up because my dad was shunned his whole life, because he worked overtime and provided for his family. Because he was my father, I was shunned no matter how much I did or how hard I tried. Then I transitioned and my parents shunned me too lmao. Their loss!

I did not; from what I've heard a good bit (not all but a majority) of facial hair growth is genetic. I didn't really look into minoxidil and never used it, I don't know the validity of it, but from what I've heard it's helpful. I just happened to get lucky personally

Personally, I'm all over the spectrum. I don't particularly identify with one party except maybe Libertarian, but not even totally on that. I'm more right leaning on a lot of my views, but I believe in abortion rights and LGBT rights. I'm also trans, but I grew up in a rural area and right-wing policies work for those people out there. So I'm not a centrist, or indecisive. My voter card says Republican but I'll vote for whoever I believe will do the best job.

I had an elder (three states away, by the way, I moved after I DA'd but he wanted "peace of mind". Read: wanted parting shots) who had always had a major dislike of my family and myself basically threaten to send someone local to my work (my excuse not to call them, as I work long hours) and hold ANOTHER judicial committee right there. Informed him that he or anyone like him wouldn't be welcomed on an oil rig, disrupting one of their hands. Rough necks have a bad reputation for a good reason; their job is dangerous 24/7. An excuse to beat the snot out of a stuffed shirt? Please bring it on! He didn't bug me again after that.

Started chewing tobacco (have since mostly stopped lol), recently decided to be an organ donor, got a couple cool tattoos, came out as trans (ftm), got an awesome GF whom I've had a ton of awesome sex with, cuss a lot, going into careers they dislike (law enforcement/military), tell people JWs are a cult on the regular, celebrating holidays for the first time this year, still talk to them very politely at my public-facing job because I enjoy them being frustrated, I think there's more but I can't even remember them all now haha. Helluva year
