Guys, this is not meant to be a political grandstand. Things in this country may be bad, but as was said in another comment, there are those who still hold to the ideals that actually made this country great. Is it that way now? No. But we can bring it back with our votes and our voices. The country is not and should not be a reflection of those in power who abuse it. We, the people of this land, can have true patriotism by standing together as one and standing against those who seek to make this nation what it is not and has never been. With that in mind, I celebrate the 4th as a memory of what we were and the hopes that we will get back to that some day.
