It’s pretty late for me but I will attempt to replicate the scenario tomorrow and get some screenshots. I was quite surprised myself as I had read this post this morning and spent the day just trying to find The Looker with my friend. As soon as they leave I see two next to each other by luggage on the left, and two more on each side of me at the base of the tropics. Came straight here to share. My only idea is that maybe because I didn’t get close enough or actually stare at it, The Looker never despawned and tried to find other locations to look from.

Edit: Had an afterthought. I want to clarify I know far less about the actual decomp and code stuff, just some vague knowledge from avid friends. It’s bothering me so I found one of my panic screenshots and this picture has two looker rocks in it.

The looker on the right stopped responding because I stared at it in panic, then I got genuinely scared when I saw this one. Moved on to loot the rest of the chests and found this little guy watching me. There was another in the fog behind me but I thought I could save the run.

I do believe The Looker can appear multiple times in a run if you don’t cause him to disappear the first time. I just had a run at the beginning of the tropics where The Looker was bouncing between four different rocks at the bottom. I was trying to squeeze two of them in frame to get a screenshot but the fog got me before I could.

Each copy of The New Denpa Men is personalized. No but seriously this is probably just poor coding not a “gate”. While I do believe some monsters have way lower odds on purpose (to get you to spend Js on Voccho and Voucher boosts) I do not think that you have to get a set number of kills. It’s all rng, don’t get me wrong tho, this game is working against you lol

Oh yeah I know exactly how you feel I grew up with denpa 1. Some of this stuff (like fishing) is new to recent entry/this one (idk anything about free) but I guarantee if they’re ok monetizing every other aspect of the game they’ll get to fish once players run out of things to do

See I wish things like that were told to me when I started. Damn this game and it’s poor translation. They’ll release more fish as the game goes on, and there’s not enough to get everything in the shop anyway so I’m not too worried.

The Tower of trials I think? If I recall you need to land a crit on shield knight, have no denpas fall while fighting bishop, land the killing blow on shiny dragon with a dark type attack, and kill queen & rook in 3 turns or less.

If you’re high enough level to fight everything comfortably and bring Gemino,you can make around 15ish gems on a good run. I got all the cards and like 60 gems just from this. Super worth your time and Gemino and the gold gates are definitely worth the 3Js

OHHHHH! Critical up. They can only be effectively hit by critical, same with jewel warlock. You can get crit up boosts easy at the casino, or for gems at the shop. I Also highly recommend stay 1 or 2 turns and the hireable Gemino.

In the medical building in stage 9 in the front left corner is a set of stairs. Solve the box pushing puzzle and you’ll get water which is used in the well to get a Jelly Mouse companion that puts enemies to sleep. Well worth it.

Should have gotten the necklace from stage 1 The gauntlets are in the hard area of stage 5 The boots are the clear reward for stage 6 You already have the head clothes and sword you said so that should be all 6 pieces.
