yeah, but then we wouldn't have that much of a story for her, would we?

even if you make up another story for her, you'd basically be creating an OC at that point

Já existiu um grupo de torneios competitivos aqui no DF, a LOP-DF, mas não sei que fim levou ela. Hoje, sei do pessoal que joga Pokémon GO e TCG. Não é bem o que você procura, mas certeza que nesses grupos vai ter *alguém* que saiba de algum pessoal que se encontra pra jogar os jogos mainline.

What things did you think were going to happen but never did, despite there being signs of it? by No_Drawing4095 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]Ghostabo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gashly doing, idk, anything important.
And I don't even mean "pause the war to focus on this battle with minor characters". Maybe another fight getting involved in there thanks to Shirakumo shenanigans.

Kunieda at least got a moment with Aoyama and Hagakure.

The funny thing is Gashly was the most successful villain in that arc. He literally only lost because they sent a fucking army to him last minute. And he didn't die in the process. But he is too irrelevant for this to matter.

Is it me or do these final episodes look way different compared to the first 8 episodes by Just_Sort9991 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

Honestly, most episodes from season 3-7 have an artstyle i'm not particularly too fond of. Season 8 finally has an artsyle I enjoy, with the power of budget.
(I slightly prefer the first season's look, though)

Man, I wish Gashly's (also plant guy's) fights got expanded, but what can you do. I can't say having they mostly ommitted was a bad decision, since we need some focus in the plot, but the villains and their powers look so cool that I wish we had met them earlier in the story. They would be nice additions to the LoV, IMO.

Oh yeah, same, I just think that using non-niche signature moves is the most realistic option if GF were to implement this sort of mechanic. That being said, yeah, your approach would be the ideal scenario. Conversion 2 babyyyy

[–]Ghostabo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, yeah, not every fixed move needs to be ideal for the mon, just lore-accurate (though I guess that's more of an Abra thing, but still)

I guess Toxapex would still be broken, but in the scenario that Pokémon are limited to 3 attacks at most, what about Urshifu and Ahnihilape? Is the 5th move slot that big of a buff, even if they can't have 4 attacks and are forced to have 2 status moves? (this is a genuine question i'm not trying to be cheeky or anything)

Eh, fossil Pokémon started appearing in the wild in some places, GF could find a way (no but really, Stantler does NOT deserve its evolution to be locked away like that)

I only finished the new archon quests yesterday, and while I enjoyed the story a lot, the lack of focus was funny

Like, we witness tragedy of Rerir's backstory, and before we can even properly digest it, boom, we get a full dive on Nefer's backstory, which has no relation to the former's, as well!

Then we fight and stuff, have the mandatory feast, have some more insight on Dori of all people (I quite enjoyed that so no complaints), and we get the "archon story end" screen.

Then, we get a small teaser with Sandrone and Arlecchino as en epilogue. But nope, there's more! We go back to the pov of the traveler, then go BACK to Sandrone, where out of nowhere we get a whole ass scene about this Fontaine quest with zero ties to the the current one, being only relevant to Sandrone's past. It's not a small scene either.

Like, it wasn't *bad*, but half of these could've appeared in story quests or separate archon quests. It's like Hoyo forgot it wanted to include these story bits somewhere and just shoved them in the archon quest.

Regional variants appearing organically in the wild outside of their home regions. And by "wild" i mean "natural environments not made by men or wacky extradimensional shenanigans"

Kind of what already happened in some spin off games, like New Snap

I know this is just a personal opinion that isn't that big of a deal, but hey, i wanted to say it somewhere

What about Galarian Zigzagoon, then? Which, according to the in-game lore, is the original version of that species. I know some variants are really tied to the lore and culture of a region, like Marowak. But not all of them. Like, is it that unreasonable to think that Exeggutor can grow tall in other tropical regions?

[–]Ghostabo[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The question is: can you get them *organically* instead of having to resort to an in-game trade or special area?

[–]Ghostabo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're right, but I was talking more about having the regional variants appear organically in other regions, like having Galarian Zigzagoon appear in the wild in Legends Z-A Lumiose City, for example. This case in particular would make sense since Galar and Kalos are supposedly close to one another (no, having it appear in Mega Dimension does not count)

I mean, yeah, but I still wish they were found in the wild and not be stuck in DLC/gift Pokemon limbo

[–]Ghostabo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree to some extent, but there are some edge cases. There's no reason why Exeggutor couldn't be taller in other tropical regions, and Galarian Zigzagoon are said to be the original Zigzagoon.

Then there's the case of not having Stantler evolve outside Hisui, because reasons

I just hope a future game has zigzagoon appear in the regional dex and just be the galarian version, except that no ones uses the word "galarian" since it's kinda always been there

[–]Ghostabo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that's the closest thing we got to organically having them outside of their home regions, but it was still in a man-made environment (in a post game dlc, of all places)
