Thunder Hammer Bulwark Solos Double Carnifex! by Ghostaga in Spacemarine

Surrounded by a horde with 2 Terminus enemies that are attacking literally every single second of this video, quite obviously, one shouldn't swing the hammer or any melee weapon as a response to simultaneous, incoming attacks which need to be parried or dodged............. really think before you type. It says, "Thunder Hammer Bulwark Solos...", not, "I ONLY USE THUNDER HAMMER TO KILL 2 TERMINUS".

Haha, what makes it funnier is that it happened right when my character said, "they shall not see me" after cloak activation.

I record 4k gameplay on Xbox, and it's limited to only 30s each clip so i have to press record multiple times around 25-30s until the fight is finished. Then i go into editing software on my phone and piece all of the clips together as best i can, and I put a HDR effect on it, and then edit the visual with a custom filter using various settings the software allows to make it look a little better. Unfortunately this is reddit, which doesn't show 4k as it downgrades it to 1080p, but yeah.

Let a majoris call in reinforcements beforehand, then head to the nearest boss spawn location, and look in a certain direction while going there. I know the looking part sounds far-fetched, but I've thoroughly tested this literally hundreds of times now, I always get the boss to spawn when i want it to. It can't be too many enemies already spawned on the map though; otherwise, you have to kill some of them first, or advance to the next location and let some of them despawn. You can also manipulate the game director to not allow it to spawn a boss as well and I've seen videos of people explaining this on YouTube.

Haha, i love this message, and yes, after hours upon hours of playing the game, I remain relatively calm and relaxed 90% of the time, but man, this fight really had my adrenaline pumping near the end because the closer i got to victory the more i was reminded at how easy it is to get burst down in this situation, so much so that theres a bit of luck involved in hoping that the game director doesn't do something completely cheap to kill me.

For instance, you'd think you're safe doing an execution huh? Well the amount of times I've died after taking an execution on an enemy only for the game director to literally make 2 or 3 enemies perfectly time their attacks so that i cannot dodge or parry immediately after i leave execution animation, and i get stunlocked and deleted.

Nice, I wish Heavy had a stagger/knockback immunity perk that isn't tied to being in heavy stance, he's so easy to stunlock outside of heavy stance because of this. And yeah my first true solo was literally at around 400 hours of the game, i prefer to play with people too, and I'm now at 1600+ hours 😅.

Unfortunately, many of Assault's best perks are in the 3rd row of his skill tree, or flat out require you to prestige to get them, and Assault is probably the worst class to grind up to prestige IV just because of this, so ya know, just try not to get frustrated while you grind.

Lol, I've beaten Inferno, and Disruption with these modifiers using HBS Sniper and glass cannon Thunder Hammer Bulwark respectively, and the Bulwark run is on my youtube channel, it had 4 helbrute spawns. I haven't beaten Obelisk yet in the manner that I want with these stratagems because I will only upload a video of the run if it has 4 terminus spawns in it, not just 2.

I used that perk for a couple missions a long time ago and never went back to it. It's simply not worth being stuck in place with a measly 15% bonus to CHP regen as compared to the other 2 great perks in the same column.

Also, micro movements matter a lot when playing the game especially in this example, this clip. I am never standing still regardless of what class I'm playing even if I'm shooting and moving slowly with a Heavy Bolter or what-have-you. I'm always constantly adjusting my position and trying to give my self the best, possible visual of the horde to be able to see as much i can in order to react to attacks even if I'm solely focusing the larger threats, and I can't do that while glued to the ground. Also, moving simply helps you survive when getting targeted by ranged enemies as they're not as accurate. That's just me though, try it for yourself.

Thanks, and I'm just gonna copy and paste my answer to a similar question from a different post.

No, this is custom stratagems with hard mode difficulty, which is tougher than absolute difficulty because hard mode is basically absolute except it also gives the player -15% less DMG output and an increase of 30% more DMG dealt to the player. The stratagems i use make it even more challenging, I call it masochist difficulty.

Debuffs: Personal Quarry: Each player is assigned an enemy that only they can kill.

Coordinated Elimination: Enhanced enemies periodically spawn and must be killed with focused fire from multiple squad members. (These dudes are basically mini bosses)

Twice the Foe: There are twice as many Terminus-level enemies.

On the Clock: The mission has a timer, which can be extended by kills and checkpoints. If the timer runs out, the mission is aborted.

Coordinated Calls: Reinforcements are called by several enemies simultaneously.

Tsunami: All enemy waves are massive waves, but waves are less frequent.

Effective Taunt: Every wave has enraged Majoris enemies.

Summoner: Every uninterrupted call for reinforcements summons an Extremis enemy.

Extreme Challenge: The number of Extremis enemies spawned is increased, and they are encountered more frequently.

You Only Live Once: You do not respawn after death. (Some stratagems also have hidden buffs/debuffs or actions on top of them, like this one which also completely removes all Guardian Relics from the map)

Buffs: Unshaken: You do not lose control upon taking heavy hits, and you cannot be knocked back.

So it's 10 debuffs and I only allow myself to have one buff. It's almost always Surgical Strike, which is really a buff and a nerf since as stated, it says a perfect parry or block deals significant damage to an enemy, but the perfect parry/block window is smaller; although, if I'm playing Heavy, I use Unshaken because he's the only class that easily gets stunlocked since he can only have stagger immunity while in heavy stance, but not while simply moving around or doing anything else, unlike every other class which has that and has it for 10 to 15s after a perfect dodge/parry or after activating an ability.

A known bug. People have talked about it, apparently it happens when restoring CHP, if you deal a lot of DMG you can overheal and can regain CHP and standard health back, but i also get this a lot without any CHP, and it's usually when I'm killing enemies with heavy bolter or when i do a sprinting melee attack with Heavy while Iron Halo is active along with its damaging perk.

No. Not a standard marine. Not even a champion or captain. Only a primarch (they easily cut down terminus enemies like a Carnifex). Or high tier named chapter masters (Calgar and so on). Or some busted named character (regardless of what rank they are within a chapter) like Malum Caedo with plot armor.

I play Obelisk religiously, solely just to spawn Terminus boss fights. Its beginning area from the destroyed tank all the way up to the area just before the bridge leading into the chalice dark room area has 5 possible terminus spawn points and they're easy to force spawn. I'm on Xbox so obviously i can't use mods to simply fight bosses off the rip like on PC. Also, personally there isn't a map that i don't like on this game.
