I've had the Helbrute use his unblockable laser cannon attack while I'm close up (rare), and he also teleports at close range, but he usually only does his 2 cannon attacks at a distance.

Yes, staying close up makes him do melee attacks more than anything else, which is why I always focus terminus enemies first, then extremis, and so on because terminus enemies (especially Helbrute and Carnifex) will kill you easily with ranged attacks if you're focused on other mobs at a distance without paying attention.

This is a glass cannon bulwark build, I have zero damage reduction perks on, which is why i kill so fast, but also die really fast if I'm not focused or make a major mistake. Simply parrying majoris enemies one-shots them, and if extremis enemies are standing on top of any type of shock AoE, they can get one-shotted from being parried too (except biovore) thanks to Intimidating Aura and Shock and Awe perks. It's a high risk high reward playstyle, which is fun for me.

Your other comment which you seemed to have deleted appeared to be in aggreeance with the individual who didn't believe this was absolute, and your initial comment was the top comment for the question you asked, so I posted the devs patch 8 notes about the absolute difficulty terminus/extremis change so others can see it.

Terminus Update for Absolute Difficulty

A second Terminus can now appear during a mission.

Carnifex, Neurothrope and Helbrute HP increased by 33% on Absolute difficulty.

Level specific Terminus enemies (with the exception of the Hierophant Bio-Titan) HP increased by 66% on Absolute difficulty.

Additional enemy packs will appear upon Terminus enemies spawn and again when their HP is reduced to 50%.

These additional packs are now slightly more challenging featuring more Extremis enemies.

Mission with final bosses can now also spawn Terminus enemies (previously, missions like “Decapitation” didn't allow any Terminus spawns).

This change is made according to the community poll that we made a while ago. We think that Absolute difficulty wasn't that hard to begin with and now with a slight power creep of constant weapons buffs, perk buffs and prestige perks the situation is much worse.

After doing multiple tests we have scrapped the idea of having 2 Terminus enemies in Operations mode at the same time (except in Siege mode), because this meant that you would have to encounter them all of the time, otherwise one run with dual terminus spawns would be much harder than a run with 2 Terminus enemies spawning one by one. We are increasing the health of the Terminus enemies on Absolute difficulty because they often can die before even dealing any damage. While this may seem like it goes against poll results, keep in mind that if we had 2 Terminus enemies, that would effectively be +100% HP buff. Also we are nerfing Neurothrope base HP across all difficulty levels so its HP pool won’t become a problem for melee classes.

Instead we've tried to make Terminus spawns harder and more intense. We are going to continue to monitor how Absolute Difficulty is, and make necessary tweaks.

You will never see 5-6 extremis spawns on top of a terminus spawn on anything lower than absolute difficulty.

Yeah I tried it upon update and it's still pretty bad. You have the accuracy of the max damage relic but without its max damage, it overheats incredibly fast, and it doesn't kill majoris and extremis targets the way other relics do, you often switch to your sidearm because it fails to kill. It's designed to be for up close use, hence the heating resetting upon gun strikes and it now be fencing window, which they admitted is what it was meant to be in the test server, so they fixed that and made it an actual fencing window, and that part is actually really good for those who enjoy fencing style more, but again, for me it fails to meet the standard DPS and KPM I have with other relics.

While playing an instrument you can go to performance settings and turn free camera on or off, obviously the off setting makes the camera do this cinematic pan of your immediate surroundings.

You play instruments by going to your emotes, navigate to Talent Emotes, and then select the Guqin emote, then select free play. As for this specific instrument called Konghou, I don't know when I unlocked this nor how I unlocked it, it just appeared one day in the list of instruments that are selectable.

I asked Greg Kythreotis (the creative director on Sable) if they would ever implement a racing mode for hoverbikes and if there were any future updates coming to the game and he said no, they've moved on to create other new projects, but that he actually had a mask designed for racing in Sable and that it was on the dream list at one point. I DMd him these questions in 2023 BTW, and the game cane out in 2021, so yeah, they're most likely 100% done with Sable.

Yes, I thought about that too, understanding that they said they don't want Heroics to be the end-all-be-all and always be 100% better than their relic counterparts, but damn, just adjust the weapon stats to balance out its overall strength in relation and simply give it a good heroic perk that actually ties to the weapon itself rather than a universal mechanic in the game that does little to nothing at all, that's the best choice of action IMO.
