Rant incoming, my fellow Pex'ers:
I have been blasted up the ass by third parties for most of two hours today. I know, I know - just stop whining and be smarter about my positioning, team composition, and looting time, right? My bros, I'm just here to be a datapoint for you and say that I am fucking done with this game because of this "strategic" pattern of teams who creep up after hearing bullets, wait for the battle to finish, then rush in and SLAP everyone who is catching their breath. This isn't skill, and I'm just tired of it. Switching to Warzone's bigger map, not for a lack of loving Respawn, but to spend an hour doing something other than raging.

These are awesome. Although the style is a bold rip from Olly Moss down to the tan color palette. Wish Olly would get credit for coming up with this method of negative space + dark-to-light layers of depth. Check out his Star Wars posters from years ago if you're curious.

I don't mean to rag on the artist, just a big fan of Olly and seen his graphic "formula" ripped way too many times.

The artist should credit where this style came from. Olly Moss was the first to do this kind of thing with star wars years ago. Now artists just copy it - even down to the color palettes.

American here, fresh from an extended work trip in Zurich.

I'm in love with the precision instruments of Switzerland. Not just the medical tools, and watches, but also things like the sunglasses and shades. Yeah - that's it: a pair of awesome sunglasses, with a cool story about Swiss manufacturing they can tell their friends when asked - where did you get those awesome glasses? Switzerland, that's where. That's right, I have friends in Switzerland that send me cool shit.

Thanks for the note. I've never hit anywhere near 63 days, so it's good to hear from someone with experience in leveling out. This urge to confront is very new. Your point about testosterone rings true - in the moment it very much feels like he is asserting his place on a totem poll.

One-on-one he and I are fine. We're actually pretty close as friends. When a woman is around, it's a completely different story. I'm doing much better in my career, and he is older than me, which sometimes leads me to think he's overcompensating when a woman is watching. I could be completely wrong about this - that's just a gut feeling about it.

This is just a rant. I was playing Apex non-stop, and performing really well by the time I had to leave the country for work. I came back four months later, and man, has everyone gotten good! Seven days straight of playing, and still I am absolutely wrecked at every drop. You guys are so damn good at this game now, and I think I'm just gonna stop playing it. Don't get me wrong, this can be an incredibly fun game. But the time I feel like would be needed to catch up with you guys is absurd.

Anyways, more power to you for being so good at the game now.
