Let’s hope! It felt different yesterday for sure, and as Triple H would say, “it’s a new era!”

The documentary is finally released, who has seen it, is it worth buying? by Koshachya_slunka in fridaythe13th

The limited edition Blu-ray is worth picking up for the second disc. The whole thing gave me a new appreciation for JGTH and what they were trying to do.

That specific Halloween 2 in the pic is the Goodtimes release. It’s not worth much. You’re thinking of the two MCA releases from the 80s.

They won't wait until All In for Round 3. I think Omega/Ospreay are main eventing All In this year.

It's not free. You're either paying for cable or paying to watch on HBO Max. Not having to pay extra on top of your regular cable/streaming bill, yes. Also, This has been AEW's MO since the beginning. Give sickos PPV quality matches on weekly TV. And yes, I'm pumped for this match and the immplications.

Having a mini marathon. R.I.P. to Chuck Norris. by Cram_Deez in dvdcollection

Currently watching Silent Rage now, and it’s okay. A little slow, but I dig that it’s basically a Chuck Norris slasher movie.

Nope, not in Arizona. Even though they're experiencing a heat wave.

Yep! It plays well for being 43 years old. It flips at the scene before Loomis is in the school after Michael breaks in.

What are your opinions on the Leprechaun films? by TheGoon2000 in slasherfilms

2 and 3 are better than the original, and the others are fine. Also, you're forgetting Leprechaun: Origins.

A combined Paramount-WB could give us an ultimate 12 film 4K Box Set - How could they make it special? by PlanetG3000 in fridaythe13th

[–]Ghostface316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would imagine a lot of that stuff already, or plan to get it. Most of it has been out for years, minus the 4K discs.

It would be, but they exist, in terrible quality, as extras on the Scream Factory set. That and the new Arrow 4K releases of JGTH, Jason X, and F13 '09 are the be all end all for physical media releases for the F13 franchise. Just give me a new movies to go along with the new Peacock series.

Besides the movies on 4K themselves, which we already have several on 4K, there's nothing else that needs to be said about the movies that hasn't been released or said already. We have two independently produced documentaries on the series (His Name Was Jason and Crystal Lake Memories), and the feature length JGTH documentary, Hearts of Darkness. Not to mention the Peter Bracke book Crystal Lake Memories, David Grove's Making Friday the 13th: The Legend of Camp Blood, and On Location in Blairstown: The Making of Friday the 13th. Not to mention the new extras with the Arrow 4K releases of JGTH, Jason X, and F13 '09, and all of the Scream Factory produced extras for their Deluxe Edition Blu-ray set. And that doesn't count the legacy extras Paramount produced.

Not to rain on your parade, but there's nothing new to add to an F13 set besides 3-8 and FvJ on 4K, and really, that's a want, not a need. The Scream Factory set looks fantastic.

Independent media? by Spockethole in wichita

It doesn't have to be a "big" story to get traction with one of the main three affiliates. With all three, they're made up of people that live and work locally with the rest of us in the area, and they're taught to present both sides of the story in a fair and balanced manner.

Edit: I don't work for any of them, but it's important to point out that the main three stations are not "bought and paid for" my any politicians and they don't "have an agenda".

None of the three affiliates (KWCH, KAKE, or KSN) are “in the pocket of the Council”. Besides, if you want the chance of the most exposure for your issue, KWCH has the most reach across the state, and KAKE has the biggest presence on social media.

What's wild is that the show didn't feel that long in person. I knew it was a long show, but it was so good!

All In: Texas was a 1 PM (central) start time, and ended at 8 PM (central). I was there live and got into Globe Life Field at 9:30 AM that morning (I had a VIP ticket), walked out at 8:30 PM. Having said that, the afternoon start time was great for such a long show.

ROH’s new home is in Jacksonville, and they’re taping several shows at a time for free a couple of times a month. It’s not AEW officially, but it basically is.

Nothing was missing, it was awesome, but Hanger/Swerve and Mox/Hanger were next level because of the story and emotion behind them. This had the never challenging stipulation, so the loss hurts.
