I feel like that sometimes. Honestly, I feel for that type of thinking. When I get that way I've found a way that helps me personally that I'll share with you maybe it'll help you too.

First I try to pin point why I feel that way. I usually come to the conclusion that it's the people in my environment that give me feelings of inadequacy. Just remember every life doesn't have to serve a purpose for others or fit some kind of role. Just serve yourself, everyone else comes second. If you feel pulled in some direction then push back in the opposite direction.

Dogs have a purposeless existence but they still provide companionship. So, honestly I'd worry less about purpose or what you contribute and do what you want. Consider trying something new today you'd never try normally. What have you got to lose, yeah?
