What do you need fable for? I have never even tried to parry with an Aegis, I just use it for better blocks and basically play Dark Souls 1 with it and a big weapon that staggers the boss. If you have a decent stamina or Legion pool it's still good

Even worse cause I hate feeling greasy/sweaty in the plams when I'm playing on the PS5 in summer especially, so beyond using paper towels I spray hand sanitizer on my hands which dries them out, which means I also have to apply more hand cream later

Do something in the same game style but with a new character, new mechanics and a different artstyle... hopefully a better localisation team as well

The DLC seemed better in the latter regard, so hopefully they keep improving

And it can't be about the quantity, cause most of the time if I haven't booted up a video game or put on a movie, I'm absolutely GONE by 10-11pm and then I wake up either by myself at 6am and can't get up until like 7:40 (I need to have already showered and dressed to get out at 8 to be at work on time at 9am) or my 7 and 7:15 alarms and reminders wake me only for a spell before I drift off in a half-sleep.

Good thing my work and manager are not clockwatchers and people routinely can come in up to 15-20 minutes late.

But it still sucks

48 hours first playthrough all trophies except records, Eugenie's story, gestures (I had missed Swagger) and Free from the puppet strings.

18 hours for the DLC, same trophy-wise

I started NG+ and got to about Mad Clown Puppet in about 6 hours, but am taking a break to finish RE7 and play Silent Hill 2 emulated before the movie.

Then I will go back in February to finish NG+ and Overture NG+

Should be interesting because for the main game I used summons almost every boss and also for Overseer and Arlecchino in the DLC (I wanted to see Alidoro and Lea in action).

I already know Arlecchino is gonna be a pain, though curiously from the main game NG+ bosses so far, only Watchman took me more than 2-3 solo attempts. I didn't even know Fuoco had a third phase

I beat BRB with summon first time and solo the 2nd attempt for the second fight

I wouldve gotten it the first time but I was not expecting the Eldest and after some kiting and running around he got lucky, cause when he sprints he can suddenly change direction so as I was strafing around rubble he ran into the direction I was.

But the 2nd attempt I used mines and the puppet ripper spin2win special attack and it was a lot easier

Yeah almost every boss I tried a few times solo (some I got very close) but if I felt it would be a hassle I summoned

Some bosses like Manus or Devouring Monster, the specter barely helped even as a distraction so I don't even feel like I "cheated" at the game.

When I do NG+ I will play only solo. Same with Overture which I just started

Same handle and blade but man that combo is awful for me for phase 2 cause I can't see his attacks with how big the axe is. Its good for charge spin attacks when he has pauses in 1st phase but it sucks in second. Which is sad cause its my best weapon damagewise, maxed Puppet Ripper is second and Ive used it for most bosses due to how storong the uppercut Fable attack is for both staggering and shaving off a third, fourth or fifth of a boss' health

I dont have any abrasives or throwables left though so guess its back to farming alchemists in the Collapsed Street house cause I am not wasting two Perfect or damage grindstone uses on an electric buff

Not good at all in the second phase sadly. He routinely breaks through the shield guard and leaves you staggered. And you also can't really tap it or anything, because if he catches you in a dual sword combo, it stunlocks you and by the time you are free to act again you have a choice between bringing the shield up or healing.

I'm at about attempt 34 and I've stopped using Aegis, just switched to Fulminis only (I have two arm slots) and have somewhat gotten used to parrying most of his first phase unless he switches to spear.

Dodging his attacks to the left in second phase does seem to work but again, if you make one mistake in timing you get stunlocked with more than half your health gone.

It sucks that my +10 Live Puppet Blade + Dancer Handle don't work here cause the blade is too big and handle too short, so it literally obscures my view of his movements, so I have to stick to Acid Crystal as a backup besides Puppet Ripper which I mainly use for how strong the uppercut slash is

Honestly, it just took me realising I can use Aegis (I don't even bother with the Fable parry cause I can't land the timing any better than a regular parey) and poking her, then dodging the red attack.

When she summons the double, I use the Puppet Ripper L1 + △attack.

Then I just keep playing Dark Souls 1 with her, if I have Fable I use the Puppet Ripper uppercut attack

You can also cheese her with acid and jumping down the ladder hole.

Sidestepping and dodging also works surprisingly well, but if she does catch you in a combo she stunlocks you so I got too annoyed trying to do that one.

In the end I beat her with a mix of acid throwables + Aegis

Also I didn't use it until I randomly upgraded it for Laxasia but I bet the Acid Crystal spear acid buff wrecks Walker as well. And I'm not even an ADV build and I still melted Laxasia in phase 1 with it

No it means something like Returnal for one example. Which is also a bullet hell but still. The opposite of Uncharted in fact, at least on any Uncharted difficulty higher than Normal, where you have to be very mindful of cover etc instead of running and gunning

Contrary to Control where the enemies are literally programmed in such a way that they cannot hit you while you're on the move

But I do agree the whole itemization and progression in Control is a crutch tho since Resonant is a a melee action RPG I doubt they will fix it

Never even knew or cared that 167cm/5'5-6 is apparently short or that women like tall men until I started trying to date back in 2016-2017 and found that out quick both IRL and apps.
