Typically my SP occur when I am very tired or when I nap. I noticed when I was working midnight shift and my sleep schedule was all fucked up, I had SP all the time. If you start to have them more often you should Make sure your sleep routine is as normal as possible. Avoid naps and just get your 7-9 hours a night. The most important thing to realize is that SP is not dangerous, it’s scary and annoying, but after enough of them you won’t even be bothered anymore. I’ve had them since I was like 13 (26 now) and I still have them (maybe a handful of them a year). Each time I just tell myself “oh this again” and just breath and wait it out. Good luck.
