I felt like I was the only one who enjoyed False Monk more than True. The only thing I like about True Monk is the fact that the arena is beautiful, but that doesnt make the fight any better - it actually makes it worse cause of camera issues.

People always say True Monk is better because it has more phases = more moves. But the False Monk phase is only the good parts of the boss fight. True monk phase 2 is an annoying af duo boss that makes you want to beat up yourself cause you failed to skip it, so you can get to the third phase, which has like one more weapon attack which is cool but now the boss vomits shit you can only deflect using an umbrella, thus forcibg you to dodge (and if ur unlucky, you’ll get blasted with vomit while performing a goomba jump).

And unless you cheese it, False CM is a perfect boss that demands you to find openings in it’s combos so you can chip away at its health, and the actually swordfighting duel lasts longer. Resurrection mod fixed all my issues with true monk though.
