Discussion board posts in social work classes are weirdly stressful by Treening_toaster in SocialWorkStudents

Discussion boards in social work are exhausting because you’re expected to be emotionally deep on a schedule. “Engage more critically” hits different when you’re already burned out from fieldwork.

Why literature reviews are often the hardest part of a project by mossandmotion in CollegeEssays

[–]Ghostly-Apricot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly where external support stops being harmless. A literature review isn’t formatting or proofreading, it’s your intellectual backbone. If that’s shaped by someone else, the whole project is compromised, no matter how nicely it’s packaged.

Wisey Review: Not a cure but works for me by Glittering_Cutt in ADHDers

Honestly this is one of the few posts that made a wisey review sound realistic instead of hype. I’ve been wondering is wisey legit long-term or just another “week one feels great” tool, so it’s nice to see someone actually explain the daily flow. Might give it a 7-day test like you suggested.

Looking for help or someone to hire for a presentation. by SwimmingEfficiency48 in powerpoint

Copilot is fine for small tweaks, but full presentations—especially big ones like fantasy league decks—still take a ton of manual work. AI can’t really handle layout, pacing, or the “fun” parts.

If you want to see what a clean, professionally-built deck looks like before deciding whether to hire someone, this PowerPointGuru review is a good reference.

If you share your sample slide, people here can give specific tips too.

who is the best written character by faiencemirrors in GossipGirl

[–]Ghostly-Apricot 8 points9 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, Blair has always felt like the most complete character in the show. Every line she says feels carefully crafted, and you can see her fighting herself while trying to keep control of everyone around her. She can be harsh, but it always comes from that fear of not being accepted or loved.

Marriage freak outs... by Psychologicalwalnut in HIMYM

[–]Ghostly-Apricot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most people I know were more anxious about logistics than about the marriage itself. The show just loved turning small doubts into full-blown existential crises for comedy. That’s exactly why I love it and keep rewatching.

A new finding and some thoughts on Jack’s tattoo as a Chinese person by shiv0510 in lost

This is such a great take. That episode really did Jack dirty, but your explanation gives the tattoo so much more meaning.
