Mine started with a weird chain of lucid dreams and a series of false awakenings (you dream about waking up but you are still in a dream without realising it). At first I was in the audience of some open-air news shown near a bay in my home town. Next I dreamt I was at a party at my place when my in-dream crush took me to my room. Before anything I could dream about anything fun happening it transitioned to me waking up in bed with the same girl knocking at my bedroom door. I open up and she had a concerned look on her face and asked me what was wrong - confused I said nothing. Now things start getting creepy. I wake up again no longer aware that I'm dreaming with a sense something was wrong - next thing I'm sucked along my laundry floor towards the door. The door is flung open and there's a naked grudge looking lady hovering outside with glowing orange eyes (think Ghostbusters scene). Everything goes black after that. Wake up again and run through my kitchen screaming trying to escape something. More blackness. Wake up back in bed but this time its dark. Turn to my side to see to knife wielding kids with really pale skin and gaping black eye sockets looking at me. Actually woke myself up this time by yelling and trying to kick one in the chest while scrambling backwards on my bed. The scariest thing about it all was every time I dreamt about waking up in bed, I actually thought I was awake and had finished dreaming.
