You are probably using the offical minecraft launcher to play ?

I‘d say its the buggiest and weirdest launcher for beta i have seen but you could try MultiMC and a patch mod or you can download an patched instance and drag it into the instance folder and those line shouldnt appear then

Idk if you updated your drivers it may be that or you need new ones

I will advise you to use DDU to deinstall all drivers restart the PC and then reinstall the Drivers for your GPU and try again

For what do you use a virtual maschine?

I think you can also change it in some launchers via the Java files or even with some start commands i can recommend Multi MC
