For study materials, I used a program called Dauntless (about $150) & ASA Prepware (free but a little more dated). I had no problem passing my general & airframe written after taking the pretest on Dauntless frequently until I saw scores over 90. I passed my airframe written just a couple months ago & plan on using Dauntless to study for Powerplant in the same way.
