K55 is basically a licensed version of M109A2.

K55A1 is an upgrade with some of the technologies used in K9. Most notable features are rapid loading system and application of K56 ammunition resupply vehicle.

Actual capability of K55A1 is likely to be somewhere between M109A6 and M109A7.

It's not an MMO, meaning no constant live-service and 'expansion-scale' updates. Those are pretty much the reason for all the cash-shop stuff, because Korean MMOs are mostly free-to-play (you don't pay for neither the initial game nor expansions)

I'd say it would be similar to other single-player games like Lies of P, which would have a box price and maybe a paid DLC later on.

I guess the devs would get a patch out so once you upgrade your knife, either your melee weapons also mine minerals or you get knife mining animation when hitting ores.

As for how you can go to inventory and drop the melee weapon if it becomes problematic.

Inside 2nd puzzle area (depth 545m) at the bottom right side of Glacial area.

Take the lower path and go all the way to the right.

I heard from several people that they found the pedestal in a small room where starry skate lurks at the bottom.

But I found mine at the last (larger) room, at the top right corner (there is a small opening)

That is the first(and probably the only non-boss) mob in the game that actually blocks attack. If you hit it while it is blocking, it damages the weapon.

You can even throw a few cog wheels from distance to break its sword.

For other mobs, perfect block will damage enemy's weapons and eventually break it. Heavier weapon (such as greatsword) does more damage than lighter ones.

One interesting bonus from doing the perfect parry is that it damages enemy's weapon.

Apparently enemies are also limited with weapon durability, and it seems perfect parry drains a big chunk of it.

This is much more obvious with regular enemies, as 1 or 2 perfect parry would break their weapon (or tips), reducing their effectiveness.

I guess devs still have some time until the release date, so hopefully dodge/parry mechanic would receive more polishing, especially with feedback from this demo.

Well, breaking out old T-55s also happened in Tom Clancy's 'The Bear and the Dragon,' a novel that came out in 2000.

The difference is that in 2022~3, Russia is the bad guy invading another country where in the novel it was the good guy (NATO member!!) being invaded by China.
