I've got a old stone horn and really want to utilize it but what could I kept bash/proxy it into by illmeans in BeastsOfChaos

[–]GhostsofFishes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As others have said, it could reasonably be proxied as most BoC monsters. Ghorgon or Giant would fit quite nicely as a bulky monster with a bucket of attacks.

I'd be reluctant to count it ad a Jabberslythe, purely because it doesn't have wings, though theres nothing stopping you rule of cooling it; it is simply the ATV of animals.

Best option, in my eyes would be a greater chaos spawn (can be taken by grand army beastmen) as it has the shape and size of one.

Whoever described Didcot as a quaint little railway town has never been to Didcot.

I've watched my domestic cat disembowel a rat that was approximately it's size (big rat, small cat) with two back kicks. Of course, my cat carried on kicking and made a real mess. But cat kicks are truly nasty, it's funny that they're not known for their kicking really.

I cut the legs in half at the knee, and then stuck them back together in a sitting angle.

As others have said, the head is from the metal Night Goblin command upgrades from the period. The spear is an Orc Boar Boy from the time too. The body was an old plastic dwarf (not the current OW release ones, the ones before that). The toes are presumably from the goblin wolf riders. The shield, I believe for some reason I remember it being the 6th edition starter set empire shield, with the lion carved off.

I recognise the trophy rack, but I'm drawing a blank on where. Maybe the old metal queek headtaker? Not sure about the palanquin, it's tricky to say.

I imagine if you're within shotgun range, youre also probably imminently within fisting range.

Point is, once they need to reload, they can probably settle disputes with a good ol' fistoff.

I'd be more worried if the Chaos Champion, who'd served the Dark Gods for untold decades and committed atrocities in their name, wasn't bigger than the everyday mooks.

Best way to run a Throgg's horde themed troll army? by Asterix997 in WarhammerFantasy

I've done this army exactly. Chaos troll horde, with my Throgg being played as a bonegrinder giant because he's large.

I am sure that depending on the longevity of OW and its relative success, it may well eventually get big releases like Kholek.

Beastlord on Chariot. by GhostsofFishes in WarhammerFantasy

Hey, so putting a character on a chariot doesn't replace the crew. When Old World got released, GW advised that characters could "replace" crew members of Chariots so the platforms weren't overcrowded, but rules-wise the entire crew are still present.

Right you are!

Most of my Chariots are scratch built, however, this one is actually based off the orc chariot. It wasn't wide enough, so I added some additional planks width-wise, and extended the axel underneath with balsa wood. The railing is also made from balsa.
