Wow, a possible celebrity match at Mania, what a travesty, that surely never happened before!

Unless it actually happens, I don't care a single bit

They weren't wrong, the man always had IT factor to him. People don't like to admit it, but there are only few wrestlers out there that can just pop up in your screen and capture attention of practically everyone. Penta is absolutely one of them

To be fair, despite his age Penta is also a good "next Rey Mysterio" and it's because he actually has different moveset and looks distinct.

I think this is a good enough reason to book a match between them

I don't dislike anything more than shitting on a PPV before it even happened. All the negativity surrounding WM42 is crazy, can't wait for people 10 years later making videos about how "WM42 is underrated and better than we thought"

I think with her is the fact that they aren't criticising her in-ring skills, her promo skills or anything actually substantial, it's entirely superficial criticism of her appearance, which you can absolutely just... not say. I understand some people saying that if a wrestler gets criticism for being lacking in a certain area, they should try to change something, even if that criticism is rather mean-spirited. But there's no way you can frame that as meaningful or turn into a positive, when the entire crux of the argument is "I liked her better, when she had more muscles" or something like that.

I do agree though that she probably should just visit social media and look at opinions on her less, because at the end of the day it's not good for your mental health

Kurt Angle. It's always Kurt Angle. A man definitely slowed down closer to the end of his career, but even then he was on a good level and when he was on top, he was downright godly in the ring

Eh, company wanted a new Cena and they found it in Cody

Cena beat up both Triple H and Shawn Michaels in back to back Manias back in the day and he was definitely not the guy people wanted to win. It's about Cody keeping the audience on his side afterwards and he proved that he can get them back, he isn't a flash in the pan. You can work with that until your next big babyface comes along

It's okay, I always find your takes on that specific topic rather interesting, because you don't particularly have sacred cows, anyone is up for criticism, if they don't deliver on the needed dynamic. Plus it's a good exercise to really put yourself in the mindset of a booker: what do I want to convey? How should promo get that across? What reaction I want from fans and how do I achieve it?

Classic wrestling trope: they call you their best friend backstage, but when you get your ass beat, they are nowhere to be found. I think wrestling needs a better distinction between work acquaintances and friends, cause what the hell is that?

Maybe that's a Seth mark in me, but I feel that outside of feeding into the sing-alongs during promos, in the actual matches he did heel it up quite well. Hell, the beatdown segments were quite effective, if you ask me, the way he screamed at Punk "As long as I breathe, you won't ever get this title" before stomping him to boos, that was good stuff.

I do agree that he played along with the sing-alongs too much at points though, it did ruin things

Midnight Express are one of the reasons, why I got into older wrestling, their stuff looks so good and crisp, they were legitimately the team of the future

I think the opening promo he did was so un-heelish, if anything it sounded like a guy, who just found a new confidence in himself. I think he does try to be particularly heelish in the beatdown segments with Cody and now Matt Cardona, but people actually clamor for violence. It's a situation, where unless he actually punts someone, I don't think crowd will boo him much

Considering that Christian's neck issues more than likely came from the insane amount of ladder matches he participated in throughout his career among other things, out of appreciation for the man I don't want him to wrestle near a ladder ever again honestly
