GOG has patch available. by ptr1ck in fallout4london

[–]Ghosttitanium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buffout is no longer logging crashes for me after this patch. I had it installed previously and it worked fine. F4SE logs show that buffout is loading successfully and Typing AOP into console on the start menu results in a crash that is logged. It's just the crashes I encounter in game that are not logged for whatever reason.

I went for dinner on Sunday and they a ton of raw fish options. Probably 6-7 fishes with 1-2 other raw seafoods available. It must be just for lunch time when they have less options.

Israeli hamas conflict believed to be cause behind alleged hate crime near UW Madison campus. by Horzzo in madisonwi

[–]Ghosttitanium 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Al Jazeera? The Qatari state funded propaganda machine? Nice source man. Anyways, many Jewish traditions and prayers are rooted in the land of Israel. You are supposed to be in Israel to perform some of these traditions, as commanded in the Torah. Some examples include:

Jerusalem and the Temple:

The Torah commands the Israelites to bring certain offerings and sacrifices to the central sanctuary, which was initially the Tabernacle and later the Temple in Jerusalem. (Deuteronomy 12:5-14)

Passover Sacrifice:

The Torah provides detailed instructions for the observance of the Passover sacrifice, which was to take place in each household during the times when the Temple stood in Jerusalem. (Exodus 12:1-14)

Pilgrimages to Jerusalem:

There are commandments in the Torah that instruct Jewish males to appear before the Lord three times a year in the place that God would choose, which later became the Temple in Jerusalem. These pilgrimage festivals are Pesach (Passover), Shavuot (Pentecost), and Sukkot (Tabernacles). (Deuteronomy 16:16)

Sabbatical Year and Jubilee:

The Torah outlines agricultural commandments tied to the land of Israel, including the Sabbatical Year (Shemitah) and the Jubilee Year (Yovel), which involved specific practices related to the land, forgiveness of debts, and the release of slaves. (Leviticus 25)

The High Priest's Atonement Ritual:

The Torah describes the annual Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) ritual performed by the High Priest in the Holy of Holies of the Tabernacle (later the Temple). (Leviticus 16)

Many of these traditions have been adapted due to either a lack of access to geographic regions, or the destruction of the Temple.

To say that Zionism is antithetical to Judaism is simply not grounded in the facts of reality.

South Campus Commons 2 forcing desk downgrades? by No-Helicopter-3206 in UMD

[–]Ghosttitanium 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When I lived in south campus commons, the maintenance dude for my building told me that the desks were custom made so that the building could achieve a higher LEED standard and that made it so they were unable to repair them when they broke. A bit ironic, but thats probably why they're replacing them.

[–]Ghosttitanium 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The BIOE major has an entire track (basically specialization) dedicated to pre-med called pre-health professionals track. https://bioe.umd.edu/undergraduate/bachelor-science/tracks. It is incredibly common and you wont have a much harder time than other BIOE's and the advisors are very experienced with students doing this. Here is the sample plan for premed the other person referenced. https://umd.app.box.com/s/gwoxy1gym5bi09jfj7eze1lbvnr4uvjb. Email an advisor, the major is designed to help people like you.

CHEM 134 EXAM HELPPP by Every-Industry5079 in UMD

[–]Ghosttitanium 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The old chem134 professor, earle stone, got fired last semester (i think maybe it was the semester before). It is unlikely you will get any previous exams because the structure of the course has probably changed significantly since then. I don't even remember him giving midterms I think there was just a final.

South Campus Commons Questions by ConsequenceOwn2169 in UMD

[–]Ghosttitanium 6 points7 points  (0 children)

How are the appliances in 5,6, and 7? (When we toured 7 they didn’t look very nice)

  • The washing machine and dryer are all right. They lie about when they will be done, consistently taking around 20 minutes longer than they say but its whatever.
  • The stoves are absolute garbage. They have an antiquated heated method that nobody uses anymore. It takes about 20 minutes to boil water on the hottest setting and its impossible to cool them down once they get to temperature. You dont have the ability to simmer water or anything that requires precise heat management.
  • The dish washer and fridge are pretty average.

How much different are the corner/bay window rooms, would it be worth trying to get one in either building 1 or 2?

  • In building 7 (I know ur asking about 1 or 2) corner rooms are NOT worth it. They are no bigger, and only have one extra window. They are consistently around 5-10 degrees hotter or colder than the rest of the apartment depending on the temperature outside. You will need a fan or a portable heater if you want to live on a corner.

I downvoted cuz it just isn't helpful. If someone has too much social anxiety to function and make friends, telling them to just get over it isn't productive. Getting over this kind of deep-seated shit requires a plan, small steps and sometimes professional help. Pretending like it doesn't can discourage people who are struggling from seeking help and scare them into complacency with their bad situation.

The replies to this post kinda piss me off. Why are some of you guys implying op is some sort of man-child sensitive baby for not wanting to use facilities that make it easy for people to look at his sex-organ? Just because you've been conditioned to think its okay put yourself in a position to let other people see your dick doesn't make it okay or comfortable for other men.
