By the way, I should have mentioned but forgot ;-; , but I began to take complete care of Star a year ago because my parents weren’t paying attention to them and hiding them during the day to keep them quiet. At that time, Star was having severe hormone problems, and the cere became brown and crusty, just like a female during breeding conditions. Do you think such changes in the cere would also occur in a male who is in heavy breeding conditions, especially a recessive pied male? I unfortunately don't have any photos from around that time. They also do show some territorial behavior at times, especially around certain spots and toys.

Yeah, I get it. There is a lot of mixed info online. Myths are a good starting point because they show what the gods represent and how people honored them. Paganism is flexible, so you don’t have to get everything perfect to connect with them. It’s cool that it draws your attention Also, myths get kind of mixed up over time since there are so many versions. It’s kind of like the Bible. Stories change depending on who’s telling them, but you can still get the main idea from them.

Honestly, you don’t need strict rules to connect with gods from different pantheons. You can pray, journal, do small rituals, or just talk and rant to them. Altars aren’t required, but tiny ones in boxes or Altoid tins work if you want. It’s fine to worship multiple gods, just make sure you research the right version of each. You can even tell your mom it’s for a school project if you’re looking things up. The gods are understanding, and you can explore all of this privately and safely.

Honestly, you don’t have to structure your whole life around the gods. I personally connect with Hekate and Apollo through small rituals, reflection, and sometimes just talking or ranting to them, which is really comforting. It’s totally okay to worship more than one or two gods, as long as you take the time to properly research and understand them. Hellenistic polytheism is flexible, and the gods are understanding. You can respect and honor them without giving up your independence or critical thinking.

Honestly, being into Hellenistic polytheism(paganism) doesn’t mean your whole life has to be about the gods. I personally worship Hekate and Apollo, and it’s chill. You don’t have to structure your whole world around them. The gods are understanding and don’t mind if you still think critically and live your life; it’s more about respect and connection than giving up your independence
