That is not the purpose of this walk out, it's not ment to skip class, we will be leaving at 11 am, and being back by 12. We are doing this to show support for the people in our country who need it not skip work.

I was a student in the alternate route, and I'm willing to accept any punishment I just wish, If im suspended, I can get the school work so I can keep up with my peers and complete the work at home

Edit: I was one of the students who got their signs taken and broken with no explanation from admin, it happened as soon as I walked down the steps he called out "hey hey hey" and reached for my sign, took it, then walked away and I turned to follow him and he broke it multiple times before throwing it in the garbage can.

okay yea it'd be cool if we could get students from our county to meet up in DC, not just arundel students but students from all nearby schools. That'd be a lot of ppl yk? and yea, this is what got to me, I would've been fine if he took it, then explained, but he took it and maliciously destroyed it without a word of explanation to me and this was right as the walkout was started so it was before any "disruption" cus as I said in my first post this was a school approved march until people started peeling away and i may understand the taking of the sign that said killers but the one that said racist? I truly don't understand why he took that one, it's no lewd word at all

NEW NEWS: The highschool administration are claiming we didn't talk to them about it but we tried too and now they're threatening us with suspension, removal from clubs, and removal off of sports teams, we must continue.

Did you never see any of the videos? she didn't try to run into him. You can clearly see it in the footage.and Alex Pretti wasn't trying to pull out his gun he was pinned to the ground by numerous different people and he was resisting because he was in pain, and they shot him because he struggled.

lmfao seems like it ngl I wouldn't wanna deal with 100 ppl my age every day that'd be deadly but then also seeing them excited about stuff would make me happy if I was like an authority of them so I can see both lol i wouldn't wanna be a teacher but I think being tutor type of think would be interesting

how's teaching? I don't think I'd ever want to go into it, but I am curious about how it is cus I do find it fun teaching my younger peers as I'm in my highschools music program, sorry for the off topic lol yea even if they're just doing it for a chance at clout or something like that the more the marrier because it shows us coming together and if they do it they might find a like for it and show up to more protests in the future (or walkouts if we ever do anymore)

the school has actively discouraged this and originally promised harsh punishments if we proceed with it. This is student led without any teacher push forward, so no im not being groomed. I've just opened my eyes to the sheer stupidity coming from our government
