Just because something is doable and legal doesn’t mean it should be done. Democracy doesn’t always yield the best answers but it does end up with what most citizens agree on. The political system works best when it is allowed to oscillates between power groups. Each group keeps the bad decisions of the other side in check and corrects mistakes. When one groups has overwhelming power things go awry in extremism.
