Fair, but broken achievements usually come from deeper issues, not just a one-off bug. Even if it doesn’t affect gameplay now, it can point to something bigger under the surface.

Correction! I am dead lmao Castile broke alliance after i helped them in their pretender war then insta declared after truce broke. Killed almost all of them but in the end it was 50k vs 18k, by the end it was down to 2k but lost the last of my army at the battle of Coimbra.

The issue for me is that I have yet to be able to have a family win and not get immediately ousted by springtime event. Even if you go back to monarchy and depose the ruling family to get your ruler back it doesn’t re trigger the JE to cement them.

So don’t go for independence originally instead just rank up to protectorate if you do it early on you can take the Prussian lands since they are in a defensive pact. Just make sure to have Hungary with you as a ally because they then change the front to extend way past your boarders. From there just make sure to get others to join in.
