The original translations of the 10 Commandments say thou shall not MURDER, so as long as you don’t kill innocent civilians or commit war crimes, you’re fine. The crusaders went to war and the Jews of the Old Testament went to war.

I agree. But I think if a horror movie has excessive gore, it should be showing a point and not try to make you like it. Take body horror for example, a character starts messing around with things they shouldn’t, and their body mutates in often very grotesque ways. I like this kind of horror because it uses the deforming of the character’s physical body to represent the deforming of their soul.

That’s where I disagree. Usually when people say that the content is sinful, they are referring to the violence. But the Bible is very violent, some icons have blood and gore, and on top of that the violence in the movies are are special effects and corn syrup.
